Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
I agree. If nothing else this has proven to be great PR, waking the market up to the fact IQE even exists! All that spare space could be put to some good use and governments around the world are waking up to the fact that dependence on China for all of their semiconductors is not wise and they are keen to encourage some home industry. Any bit of "encouragement" could help.
Hmmm... The RNS is a pretty uninspiring piece. It seems to be saying "More of the same, hopefully". The previous revision to forecasts did the damage and this latest update hasn't got anything to reverse it. Ah well, back to sleep for the management team.
Read today's RNS, there is info in there about how to register or how to get the info afterwards.
Lol, I agree Barcap's timing was impeccable. He stated his position, target and close out in real time, without the benefit of hindsight. I do not think it is gloating at all! Nice job.
120p is Barcap's magic short target. He makes a point of saying that's not an entry point though!
Ooops! Spoke too soon?
Hi Nick, I agree with your idea of not "auto-reinvesting" dividends. There is often a bump in price on the day this happens as all that money gets put into the shares. Better to take a look at all your holdings and top up something else, or as you say accumulate the divis and take up a new position.
Getting back to the matter in hand... pretty low volume here today. I would much prefer a steady drift upwards, more to pee the MMs off if nothing else.
Ah, the US media are a slightly different story. Fox news is like a comedy channel!
You are unlikely to get 12% initially, but if you are looking at "real yield" on your 100k, you could get there over time. Ideally, if you drip feed it into the market at times of market stress, you will get capital growth as prices recover. The stated yield of 4% is a much healthier 8% real yield if you bought when the shares were half the price. Right now and the coming months are clearly shaping up to be just such a period of market stress and there are some bargains to be had. Still, we may not have reached the bottom yet, which is where topping up to reduce your average price will help. I'm no expert and not seeking to give advice, but just imparting my own experiences. Good Luck!
Regarding the western media, of course we understand it can be subject to a certain slant or spin (or "editorialised"... ugly word!). The difference is that if a journalist gets a sniff of a big story involving government cover ups, lies, scandals etc. you can bet your last cent that it will be followed up and get published! A free press doesn't mean you get absolute fact and honesty from each outlet, but it does mean that the establishment don't get to set the entre agenda and have everything their own way. Much as I moan about the British press, I'm sure glad they are not just printing the party line or fearing for their lives.
Yes, but sadly BWNG is 64.81% down from it's 52 week high. Quite a dud as it turns out.
A change of face at the top and a little "perestroika" would work wonders. The Russian people would need to face to up to some difficult home truths, but can salve their consciences that they were lied to 24 hours a day. Their wealth has been stolen and they should have no loyalty to the old regime.
The cancel culture has gone too far. Wednesday now cancelled?
Barcap's predictions turning into reality? The Tea Lady will be pleased!
Ah, oxygen... thank you for knowing the difference between "affect" and "effect" and using it correctly. It could be a first on these boards! ;-)
I've never known this site be wrong, I use it to look up all divi details:

The bad news is relentless with us company. I wish I'd never got involved.
All the housebuilders seem to have taken a bit of a hit today... I guess it's a question of costs/materials/labour versus increasing house prices. Which side of the equation goes up most decides whether housebuilders benefit or not.
