Yes, i have seen some bad feedback for lookfantastic on some review sites which did concern me, so In February I ordered a gift from the company, it came in two days and well wrapped (emails and texts in between saying the exact date and delivery slot). I’m very sceptical about the whole thing. Is it being driven down for a takeover.

Whatever any journo writes about THG, the Fitch rating is the only key bit of data published recently, that report was very positive. Oliver talks about ESG issues (he is well respected by the market) but the company has just employed an independent Chair and is gradually dealing with the conflicts natural to a recently privatised company. THG would make an excellent case study for the regulators. The high IPO price, the significant fall since, the media reporting false information, certain funds doing similar. Someone’s made a lot of money from this.

Did the media not verify the story regarding Dermalogica and THG before publishing it…shock horror.

THG need to crack on, get a new chairman, keep winning and informing the market of the new partners for ingenuity it’s that simple. Much of the content written about the company is not about the company, more about the share price and SoftBank, there’s a good reason for that, but revenue and growth is so boring.

Disgusting really, 5-7% a day, retail investors have no protection on this one. If it keeps going down and an announcement regarding going private or a takeover comes out then stewards inquiry needed.

Ah well, there was so much left out of Tuesday’s update (chairman, premium listing, SoftBank), in my view the silence speaks for itself and it could be positive.
