Quick question. Can a company RNS a big contract win during a closed period?

Why would they have not announced the gas safe contract . Is it because they are they are in a closed period? Or wouldn’t this make a difference with that kind of thing? Can you RNS such matters during a closed period?

Oxford thanks for your comments. I can’t see the II’s accepting an offer of 21.5 . As a long term and fairly significant PI shareholder I wouldn’t be that keen either. I tend to agree that I would roll into any merged company if that was on the table. I don’t need the money desperately and any merger might produce a decent dividend. On the other hand , I was hoping for proper return out of this by now and it is a shame that previous management have mismanaged things so badly that the current lot are playing catch up.

This is all a bit pie in the sky really but entertaining to think about. However AH has form for this so it cannot be discounted completely and the agressive cost cutting and divesting of non core makes it more likely something like this happens.

I don't see the point of an MBO and Id be surprised if public sector clients would be that happy . They probably have change of control clauses. There arent that many PI's here and there are multiple other II's who would be deeply unhappy

There will be a lot of LTH's hurt by an MBO at 25p . Im wondering whether to average down further
