I am thrilled to start my Day 1 as the new Group CEO of Capita . Capita is a fantastic organisation that plays an important role in millions of people's lives every day. From supporting telecommunication companies, energy providers, local governments, schools, armed forces, administering pensions, providing training at scale, processing services for private companies and governments, our work spans multiple industries and countries.
I am honoured to lead a company that plays such a crucial role in society and delivers meaningful impact to the UK and across the globe. Capita is at an exciting inflection point, and I'm excited to collaborate with our clients and technology partners to ensure we are on the right side of change. Together, we can deliver solutions that address the problems our clients face today and those that they'll need to in the future.
The acceleration of automation and GenAI pose an opportunity which we will take advantage of to create a more digital Capita. Together, we'll take the company to its next stage of evolution – developing a strategy that puts our customers' needs front and center and improving our financial performance. We will also continue to create a working environment that our colleagues are proud to be part of, in which they can be fulfilled and grow their careers.
My ambition for Capita lies at the heart of our Purpose – to create "better." We will raise the bar in every aspect, creating a better Capita for all our stakeholders – our clients, our colleagues, shareholders, and society – and a sustainable business for the longer-term.
