What are they supposed to do? I suspect they must ensure criteria is met. If the recruits aren’t there or are but not fitting certain criteria then how is that Capita’s fault. Perhaps the govt has to relax its candidate criteria ?

It is quite unacceptable for Francois to be talking about a British company like this. As a brexiteer who should see the symbolism behind this, he is pretty daft. I’d be interested to know why Capita hasn’t made its targets. Is it related to quality of candidate and government criteria by chance?

It’s disappointing to see posters continually criticise Capita like this. You have to wonder why they are on this board. It’s not really constructive and causes long term holders like me a bit of angst. Things go wrong sometimes. In even the most successful companies

I see a strong revenue stream, reducing debt and a fresh hungry ceo. Much to play for here. I would like to see some more contract wins and some more cost cutting

I took a 50 percent profit on RR - thought I was being clever . Look at them now. Feel so stupid. Put my profit plus plus into this seeing it as a bargain. I just pray it will end up being a good decision rather than the awful one it currently appears to be

AH needs to acknowledge the underperformance-a bit like the RR guy did (perhaps not as stark!) . I dont want to hear about how wonderful they are. If they were all so goddamn wonderful Capita would be one of the most sought after shares with a P/e ratio multiples of where it is today

I don't mind acknowledgement of efforts made -that's fair enough but the message must be profit, profit, profit. Other wise sell it to a ruthless PE player for 46p and move on!

I'm obviously keen to do well but I must admit it might be 12-18 months before we see really decent progress -everything until then will surely be smoke and mirrors aspiration!

To continue with the analogy...the farmer 's predecessors had bought a lot of equipment which didnt work out to well because of EU quotas and significant profit didn't materialise. The predecessors indebted the farm significantly. So Farmer Jon sold of some of the equipment and reduced the debt leaving the best bits of the farm. Its now up to his son who is well versed in the very latest practices and is well connected, to work the remaining part of the farm better

I have read this-nothing about shareholder value or the fact the business hasn't turned a decent profit for ages. Just about diversity and inclusiveness. Adolfo if you are reading this board just remember your main remit is to deliver shareholder value and we are currently scraping the barrel. If we were that blooming good the sp would be at £1 plus. Get serious Adolfo. We don't need a diversity and equality director -we need a proper commercial ceo
