For me (having not been familiar with it before) it was the way No Fear was pumping the share and CPI generally and then suddenly after saying he would leave for good after selling, he came back and just went into de-ramping mode. It was almost as if there were 2 No Fears totally unaware of what the other was saying.

Lost trust in his word. Put him on ignore. Suggest others do too

I think they will go in hard on cost savings-they have too

@Bigpunt-I think he needs to talk about both and also the strategy relating to delivery of new work

What I don't want to hear is how wonderful senior staff have been because quite frankly collectively they have not. He seems to have a very private sector mentality so it augurs well

Also materially cut down on real estate We could have 200m FCF in 2 years with some decent contract wins and some costs savings across the business

JL does not deserve a golden goodbye at all...and I will personally highly condemn any statement coming out of IR's mouth praising his achievements. Shareholder value is absolutely key to a CEO's success. Selling off businesses is not exactly rocket science

23 p is a joke of a re-rating but even so RBC's take cannot be totally dismissed and a damning indictment on the board

@Gotout who's pumping this share based on outdated analyst targets? We have had some recent ones well above 23 p. The timing of this is quite frankly extremely odd-coming a week before the new CEO arrives

Which council is that "Slippytoad"? i mean your name says it all doesnt it. Now with no knowledge of all the facts of any legal case , you confidently claim "the likelihood is the council will win".

A week before the new ceo we get this rating. Why? Why not listen first to what is coming and then re-assess? This is a weak hand play imo

AH need to come in with a bang. No messing about and no sanguine statement about how privileged and honoured he is to be at Capita's helm. I want an acknowledgment that things have been rough for shareholders and that this is going to get addressed

JL and previous CEO's have in the short space of 10 years havent done a great job

@Cashola-yes. 2024 for Capita is about the new guy and his use of AI, cutting property exposure and making more savings. A few big contract wins. That kind of thing.

I'd love to know the precise basis for the cut from 42 to 23 when every other broker has Capita at 28 p and higher .

@JCB-completely so basically RBC have sat on theor hands for 9 months-seen the half year report, the interim guidance and the hack and only now have decided to re-rate. You have to flipping laugh you really do

So basically RBC expect Capita to trade in line with the sector average-tell us something we didnt know for 2024. It's like me telling you the sun will rise at some point tomorrow. Im surprised they were at Outperform to be honest since that didnt happen last year. When was their last rating for Capita ?
