I notice the detractors on this board have been taking a slightly more subtle approach to their ‘work’ this week. Instead of the usual ‘this will be 50p by Christmas’ posts, we had a small, but persistent cluster of individuals questioning the public relations acumen of the board of directors and their reluctance to hold the hands of investors every step of the way, by spoon feeding them with weekly information.

This has clearly had an unsettling effect on the less experienced investors and created a sense of general unease - exactly what was intended.
The common theme amongst these naysayers is that not one of them has put up a single piece of evidence to suggest that this drug doesn’t work.

Instead there is the growing realisation from healthcare professionals around the world that SNG have made one of the most significant drug discoveries in respiratory medicine since Salbutamol (Ventolin) was discovered way back in 1966.

This novel treatment has been classified as a ‘broad spectrum anti-viral treatment’, so will benefit millions who suffer from the vast majority of lung infections and conditions. This has the potential to empty respiratory wards globally, saving healthcare systems around the world $billions for decades to come.

Commercially, covid has simply accelerated the process, the main driver is the COPD market. This basic fact seems to have escaped the ‘one day experts’ that have crept onto this board over the last seven days.

Trust Synairgen’s CEO get on with his job and make good his promise to ‘deliver maximum shareholder value’. The decision by our government not to grant this treatment EUA is morally disgraceful, the company swiftly dealt with this by cleverly teaming up with Clinigen. It is now only a matter of time before a foreign regime decide to grant EUA.

I think the well-used swan analogy is relevant to SNG, in that not much appears to be happening on the surface right now, but underneath there is feverish activity.

Buy, hold and believe in the company, but above all, believe in the science.

Oxford - Excellent post, as usual. You only have to see how many ticks it has gained to see most long term holders agree with your viewpoints.
I wouldn't dream of contacting RM at this crucial stage, however, I have spent two days this week composing a 900 word newspaper SNG story and sent it to every national daily.
I'm trying to get some exposure for SNG, but so far with zero success. It seems the country is transfixed by vaccine stories and is not interested in the only covid treatment in the world that can actually save lives.
Frustration doesn't come close - I'm seething with anger by the course of action this government have taken. So many lives could have been saved if this drug had been granted EUA.
I'll keep trying with the nationals and regional rags with all this spare time I have until lockdown ends.

This evening couldn't have gone any better. This is why I sold 75% of my NCYT shares to buy into this.

As I said suggested back in March, the best way forward both financially and morally for SNG would be to licence this out to major pharma on a global scale to the ten biggest companies. Looks like RM mentioned 15 this evening.

'Going it alone' with Covid and later on partnering up for the longer-term COPD deal - A smart move from a smart BOD.

This is de-risked now and is just a process. Sit back and enjoy the ride over the winter and collect in the Spring/ Summer.

Weekends are usually the best days to get a decent conversation from fellow long-term holders and keen newly-arrived members on this board, such a shame the chat has deteriorated to such a low level today.

When you hold your new-born baby for the first time and have the usual conversation, ‘I wonder what our baby will turn out to be? Maybe a plumber, computer wiz or even a doctor…’ no one ever adds ‘internet troll’ to the list.

If only their parents could see what a waste all those years of effort have been, I’m sure they would be truly ashamed of their offspring’s antics. We are only given so many precious days on this earth, why waste even one spamming a page with garbage all day?

Best wishes go to all genuine share holders here, both newly arrived and longer term.

Believe in the science, the board and most of all the product and ignore all the ‘noise’ in between.

This pandemic became very real and very personal for me a couple of weeks ago and believe me, when it does it's very, very worrying, especially for an asthmatic like me.

I came out of 14 days isolation today - my wife caught covid from a colleague, who came into work with symptoms instead of staying home and spread it all around her office - hard to believe the stupidity of some people.

Mercifully, my wife only had heavy flu symptoms, we split our house in two and I luckily escaped this time, she is recovering slowly but feels '10 years older'.

This is why I latched onto this company back in February. I won't rest easy until this treatment is available on prescription from my GP.
EUA can't come quick enough.

In April when the phase 2 trials were underway, a few posters were hoping for leaks from the various trial hospitals and were thinking about hitting the ‘sell’ button as the price drifted.

I put forward the view that it would be better if the trial maintained 100% integrity, then we could have an RNS that hit everyone squarely between the eyes for maximum effect.

As we all multi-bagged on the back of the phase 2 results on ‘Manic Monday’, I think we can agree in hindsight that keeping the results under wraps was the best course of action.

It was easier to keep control of the P2 results, as the trial was ‘double blind’. P3 is roughly nine times bigger, so can’t possibly be as covert. As patients start to recover across the various trial hospitals, it will be difficult to stop clinical staff letting the cat out of the bag on an ongoing and regular basis.

Even during P2 we had at least three links provided from alert posters who saw recovery stories in their local papers. It was these first-hand personal accounts that reinforced the view that we were really onto something here, even though the share price continued to drift.

The company name obviously wasn’t mentioned at the time, but seeing individual stories from patients who had recovered from designated hospitals with the key words ‘trial’ and ‘nebuliser’ gave the game away, as no other company was carrying out this type of trial at the time.

I invested more heavily, haven’t sold a share since and bought a shed load more this week. I remain very confident in the science, the product and the board.

A recently unverified quote on this board for Synairgen’s treatment was £1000 - £1400.

A+E minimum £722 per night.
How many nights will a patient stay in hospital if transferred to a covid ward?
E.G. 14 (minimum) nights = £10,108.

Synairgen’s treatment should be granted EUA sooner rather than later. This would save the NHS £millions, not to mention thousands of precious lives.

Is there a vaccine agenda? I’m not one for conspiracy theories, but this government and the media in general have a definite bias towards vaccines and seem happy to leave treatments in the shade.

I doubt that will be the case in 2021 when SNG's P3 trial results are announced, maybe even sooner if EUA is granted.

Last night I had a crazy dream, I dreamt I could buy as many Synairgen shares as I waned at a 50% discount.

Then I woke up and realised that actually happened yesterday.

Kaeren - Sorry for the late reply. That would seem to be the worst case scenario, but seems possible from the info presented in the dystopian document.
I'd much prefer to inhale Synairgen's interferon beta 1-a treatment than rely on a rushed to market vaccine.
I think the markets will soon come round to the same conclusion.

The antibodies produced by the covid-19 virus encourage a ‘wide focus response’, sending the immune system into overdrive, falsely attacking healthy tissue, resulting in severe inflammation of the main organs: heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, skin etc.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but my understanding of the UK testing situation is that approximately a year ago, a CEO of a small diagnostics company based in Camberley, with shrewd foresight and a deep understanding of contagious infections, realised the catastrophic effects the recent infectious outbreak in China could have on the planet, if world leaders didn’t act in a swift and efficient manner.

A year later the same UK company, having delivered a full suite of tests that can be used in a variety of settings, all with 99.8% reliability and badged as ‘gold standard’ by the World Health Organisation are today, still competing with inferior standard tests from both home and abroad.

Incompetence is one thing, corruption is another. Snouts appear to have been placed in the trough and palms seem to have been greased at the expense of the very people who allowed these so-called ‘honourable gentlemen’ to board the gravy train in the first place.

This has gone way past a half-day grilling by a public accounts parliamentary committee somewhere down the track.

Anyone merely casting a passing glance at the UK testing situation as far back as March could see the correct path to take, both morally and financially. This dire situation can longer be brushed under the carpet with a simple shrug of the shoulders.

The admirable Graham Mullis put the UK testing solution on a plate for this government, but instead they chose to take the ‘tapas’ route.

I don’t have any particular political axe to grind, but watching politicians routinely foist inferior products on their electorate has left a bad taste in my mouth.

‘Great’ Britain? After this sorry fiasco, I think not.
