Given the situation in Russia and western sanctions is it too little to expect that Amur would have flagged this up with their bank asking them to keep them informed if circumstances change? Is it unrealistic to expect RY to be proactive on a topic like this and to have preempted this problem? An open line to the bank is the least I'd expect.

I think your advancing years must be playing tricks on your memory BoB. I got into Eurasia when the Ananiev’s bought into the company back in 2013. They paid 1p per share at a time when the shares were trading at 0.5p. In the immediate aftermath the share settle back into its previous state of aggressive inaction. I remember you pitching up a few years later simply because of your moniker. I nearly bought a house on Bodmin Moor so the name struck a chord although I don’t remember you posting anything of interest back then or since for that matter.

The only thing that I do remember is you throwing a bit of a hissy fit a couple of years ago when the share was being pumped and I was picking up on contradictions and shortcomings on what Eurasia was claiming and the data they were publishing. If you can’t pick holes in the narrative and if the company is making all the moves that are industry standard you’re onto something. That simply wasn’t the case with Eurasia Mining.

You have two choices with an investment you can either look to identify weaknesses in the story to establish just how strong the story is or you engage in confirmation bias. The latter is populated by two types, those who genuinely believe they’re onto a winner so spend all their time looking for confirmation of that view and those who don’t really care if the story does hang together or not. They’re the type who’d pump a corpse if they thought there was money in it.

So the time line you quote is wrong. Eurasia didn’t spring into life until late 2019. When it did that’s when I started looking in detail at what they were saying. That’s when you and a whole load of other posters started getting really shirty at my pointing out all the contradictions and inaccuracies in their presentations and RNSs.

I claimed the company was going into administration? When was that? I bailed out at 14p and left you lot to get on with it. I was told, since I no longer held shares, I shouldn’t be posting. As if the only legitimate unbiased opinion you’ll get on here is from posters who hold!

This is a multi-bag for some that’s true. It also represents a huge loss for an even bigger number of people. At the end of the day this share will be remembered not for making money but merely for redistributing it from the unfortunate many to the lucky and unscrupulous few. And when the final chapter is written it will more than likely blame the war and sanctions for this company going down the plug hole when in fact it was always going to go that way.

Your assessment of Amur Minerals is similar incorrect. An offer to buy Amur for up to £100m was tabled in January of this year. The war in Ukraine saw that withdrawn. A second offer of $105 was tabled in May but that was rejected by shareholders because of the payment terms. The company is now trying to tie up a deal for $35m. That’s $35m more than will every be paid by anybody for Eurasia.

I don’t have the time or the crayons to explain this to you what is going on here and even if I did I very much doubt you have the mental dexterity to either understand or process it.

As for the change in my posting moniker I suspect even somebody as intellectually challenged as you might be able to work out that somebody who used to post as TrickyDickyTwo coming back as TrickyDicky2 probably wasn't trying all that hard to hide who they were. As for my previous posting history being removed that was down to another board with an equally zealous bunch of cultists.

I have seen nothing here in recent years to change my view that Eurasia Mining is nothing other than smoke and mirrors, a cleverly presented package that's largely empty of meaningful/valuable content.

I suspect what TYM has done is they've gone into this deal with Mwashia Resources Limited on a JV basis with a too good to be true strap line (…exercisable at any time, to purchase Mwashia's 10% interest for the amount of US$3.5 million). PIs seeing that will think the deal is a corker. Having previously announced a collaborative agreement, not a JV, with First Quantum Minerals it merely adds to the perception that something big must be going on.

In reality what I suspect what TYM has done is they’ve gone cap in hand to First Quantum Minerals and said we’ve got this JV coming up and we’ll give you first dibs if you allow us to use your name in a collaborative agreement RNS. First Quantum Minerals have nothing to lose by saying yes and who know Tertiary might actually find some of value for once.

What I think is behind this is they’re laying the groundwork for a pump to get a placing away which will allow them to drill a few more holes at Jacks. The last raise was January of this year for £600k. In the interim they’ve drilled Pyramid in Nevada and come up with nothing. They’ve also been drilling at Jacks so the coffer are not brimming over at this stage.

That’s all guess work so DYOR.

You can't always relay on an RNS being published when it should or containing something you can hang your hat on. What somebody is obliged/required to do and what they actually do are two entirely different things.

Having said that I don't have the same jaundiced view of Robin Young as a lot of PIs on here have. I still expect to see a positive (sic) outcome here but when is the big unknown.

The reduction of geopolitical risk is predicated on the deal completing and the monies being in Amur's bank. The comment "Next week....." is what completion, receipt and the reduction of geopolitical risk is based on.
