I think its a lot more that just media manipulation. Tsingshan are, to all intents and purposes, nothing more than an extension of the CCP. They do the CCP's bidding, are backed by the CCP and all organs of the State (political and financial). The CCP has the specific objective of not only cornering the supply of critical minerals/metals but to move into and dominate various industries.

The most effective way to move into an existing mature market? During a paradigm shift which is what we are seeing right now in the car industry. A lot of the OEM's, European in particular, are waking up late to that fact.

Xiang Guangda wouldn't have placed his massive short on nickel without the knowledge and blessing of the CCP. The CCP were only too willing to offer to cover his short when the nickel market went side ways just over 12 months ago. They couldn't let their favourite son take a kicking, neither could the Chinese owned LME.

When governments start to muck about with the markets it usually ends in tears.

You need to read and understand the whole thing.

"The Company will be required to make an acquisition or acquisitions which constitute(s) a reverse takeover under AIM Rule 14 on or before the date falling six months from the completion of the Disposal, or be re-admitted to trading on AIM as an investing company under AIM Rule 8. Failing that, the Company's Ordinary Shares would then be suspended from trading on AIM pursuant to AIM Rule 40. If the Company's shares remain suspended for six months, admission of the Company's shares will be cancelled."

They have six months from the disposal of Kun Manie to acquire another project.. If they do not acquire another project by then the shares are suspended from trading. If they do not acquire another project within 6 months of being suspended they will be forced to delist. So 6 months to a suspension of trading and 12 months before they will be forces to delist. The other option, however, is they "be re-admitted to trading on AIM as an investing company under AIM Rule 8."

If the shell company, after the 1.8p special divi has been paid, values up at 0.5p then I'll have made a small profit (emphasis on small). I've no intention of selling so irrespective of what it values up at it will not, as the old saying goes, be a profit or a loss until I I sell.

Horizonte is an entirely different proposition. They inherited the majority of what makes them such a potentially valuable proposition courtesy of Vale and Glencore. They didn't have to do the hard miles discovering then proving up their reserves. There's has been a much easier ride with large sprinklings of luck thrown in along the way. Amur's luck, in contrast, was largely noticeable by its absence.

Have to say there's a bit of counting chickens before they hatch going on over on that BB. You can never count on fickle nickel doing what you think it should. Fulmar29 posted this link the other day with the comment that Vermelho has just gained value.

I think the exact opposite. If Tsingshan Holding Group develops a cheap way to produce class 1 nickel from nickel laterite using a modified NPI flow sheet it will see the Chinese corner the class 1 nickel market.

I think this potential development could remove the cost advantage nickel sulphides have traditionally had over laterites when it comes to producing class 1 nickel. It could be that we are dodging a bullet with Kun Manie being sold right now.

The big advantage Horizonte has is its not Chinese.

I get they frustration I really do. I can't remember when I first invested here or how many presentations and AGM's I've attended or how many times I've spoken to Robin Young (the bugger owes me two beers). It's a real bummer when something you've been in for so long goes the way this one has. Bailing out brings its own relief no matter when you bail or why so I get that.

I generally tend to have a far more sanguine view of the BOD. Comms have been poor but then again I'm not sure what they could have said that would have satisfied PIs. When you're in the middle of a news drought, especially a positive news drought, to say nothing is really your only option. Being critical is understandable especially when your hard earned is being eroded. Understanding is the hard part.

If you have sold out completely I guess you'll not be around for whatever comes next. I hope you'll live to regret that decisions but, as I'm sure you realise, I'm saying that from a purely selfish point of view.

Refuse to explain it? That's your job. You posted it since you believe it relevant.

The article is an academic paper that outlines the geological nature of the Monchegorsk district. It doesn't delineate a resource, let alone a reserve. It simply describes the nature, composition and structure of the area. It's an academic paper published through open source. If there was any value or worth in the subject matter being written about it wouldn't be available in open source. This paper is no different to a whole host of similar academic papers outlining the geological composition of various locations. It doesn't define or delineate commercially viable deposits.

I really struggle to understand how you lot can be so gullible either that or so morally bankrupt.

In your own words explain what that document is saying and why you think it's relevant to your investment. Explain how this document relates to Eurasia's Monchetundra and why it makes what Eurasia claims irrefutable.

The Wardell Armstrong report that finishes on page 38, the same report that confirms an average grade for nickel of 0.28%. I wonder what comes after page 38 or do you think that's the full report? Most reports have an index at the beginning but the Wardell Armstrong one that Eurasia has made public doesn't. I wonder why?

My thoughts entirely. Some are making a real effort to sow seeds of doubt. A lot of the comments being made about Amur are being made out of context. Comms have been poor that's for sure but the company was kept afloat when nickel went below $4/lb. and funding for junior explorers disappeared.

If it were that easy to wring maximum value out of a junior explorer we'd be seeing an awful lot more of it and I'm not aware of that many juniors that doe excel.
