None of us has seen the detail of the transaction so no one is in a position to deny that this was a "one-of-a-kind inventory financing transaction." - or are you telling us that DP World are lying? And don't say refer to your mates because they certainly haven't seen the transaction detail.

Strange then Rosie that DP World think it's unique, I suspect they are in a better position to judge than you, them having the details of the transaction and you not.

Napalm - they expressed reservations but have not pursued at this point. This does not mean the debt free solution does not exist, it simply means they have not examined it fully yet.

In June 2022, the Company will launch an Open Offer reserved to existing shareholders giving them the ability to participate on the same terms as Venus Capital as to the subscription price and associated warrants related to the mandatory tranches. Any Ordinary Shares not taken up by existing shareholders through the Open Offer will be subscribed by Venus Capital in July 2022, as part of its binding commitment to provide up to £7.5m.

Lex, I thought Venus had guaranteed to take up any shares not bought in the open offer?

Castle, it appears that you don't understand how businesses are bought and sold. with a start-up/newish business its all about future potential. Just take a look at the deals over the last couple of years, how many businesses have been sold for £100ms or even £bn unicorns where they haven't made any profit to date? Its all about the scaleability and future earnings.
