I've just taken a small position here. Mostly due to how well My sons were treated when I opened a PoA account for my son at our local Lloyds bank a few weeks ago, and how our youngest lad was treated too when he asked the lady in branch if he could have one as well. Both of them were accommodated very well, and both of them are happy with their accounts with the bank. Wonderful service from them. Couldn't not take a small position. I'll be adding to the 400 I bought today whenever I can.
The Barroso lithium mine, in Boticas, may be about to change hands, from current British promoters to new Portuguese-American owners. Aethel Mining, the mining arm of the Aethel Partners group, co-founded by Portuguese businessman Ricardo Santos Silva and owner of the Torre de Moncorvo iron mines concession, is negotiating the acquisition of Savannah Resources, a knowledgeable source told Negócios...

Hope you are all well. Just thought I'd check in to say hi.
Falling house prices don't really bother me all that much to be fair.
Unless you're downsizing, I see it as valueless money because you've got to use it to buy somewhere else to live or spend it on renting. It just seems a pointless exercise to me, unless you urgently need to raise funds.
I'm mortgage free now. I paid the last of it off last week as I didn't owe much on it. It feels very strange not having it now.
I used to work for the bank, so had my mortgage at the base rate for a good 7 years as a perk of the job. I could have doubled the monthly repayments and got rid of it long ago but never did. Still. That one's on me.
I've got to give our local.Lloyds bank a big thumbs up to be fair as well. I had to open a PoA account up for my lad who has a disability, and they made it so easy to do. Our youngest lad who was with us asked the lady in branch if he could have a bank account too while he was there and she set one up with him. I'm well happy with the bank.
The missing point also being that food manufacturers like ourselves have no control or say on what supermarkets sell our products on for either.
It's no secret that none of them pay suppliers anywhere near what they sell their srock for. They'll be paying nowhere near £2.66 for a pack of chocolate slices. £1.50 tops, if we're lucky.
You could well be very close to the mark. Time will tell.
I'm more than happy to wait this out. I've got almost 30k shares here and I'll be adding to that to as funds permit.
There's a good profit to be made here for those here who are brave and patient enough to wait for it to come.
Well I've bought a couple of extra thousand shares this morning. I'm not usually this patient with any holding as a rule, but I can see good returns here, but know that I'll have to wait for them.
Cost wise, with an investment value of just over £1200 in, this is the one I've got the least amount of money in so I'm happy to leave them on a back burner.
