Ha. Things pretty quiet on the DDDD front. No TR1s still... plus no PDMR dealings. I wonder if they are in a closed period with Phase 3 Blautix partnership discussions confirmed as in progress by the company?

Just read the article again. So many mentions of multiple potential IBS partners... and a lot of focus on Blautix throughout. Duncan is clearly signposting a future phase 3 deal here! Finishes up with this:

Tip for you - do your own research and don’t rely on others. I’ve done mine and this is a great company with an extremely high ceiling. It doesn’t take a genius to see how undervalued the company is compared to the US listed LBT companies. You have a loss because you no doubt invested a huge amount with a short term goal. You need to be happy to hold companies you buy into for the long term. I have no doubt that the price you bought into at will be reached in the next 6 months. Also, in my experience, it’s best to average in over a month or so...

To quote you from - few days ago “ I believe in the company and its plans and its potential”. Idiot.

It's quite simple really (if you aren't here for a day, a week, a month...), DDDD will not be at £120m market cap this time next year!

Feeling pretty bullish despite the selling... no director dealings and the tone of the emails I’ve exchanged with the company give me the sense something is brewing. I’m pretty relaxed and using this as an opportunity to average down. Done my research to the hilt here

Imagine selling this morning on that RNS. The extension is required because Longevity’s constitutional documents required a merger before late November 2020 - purely a technical extension and the company has confirmed expectation of January listing to me via email... don’t look a gift horse in the mouth

Very good and I agree. Seres flew up 8% after London close on Friday, equal to $250m - almost double DDDD's entire market cap...

As previously communicated we expect the merger to complete and the NASDAQ listing to become effective in early Q1 2021. We are working tirelessly towards this and have made excellent progress in the regulatory process, and will be sure to update the market as and when appropriate.

Your words of advice around liquidity are appreciated. As part of the dual listing process we are engaging an American depository bank which will manage the liquidity of shares/ADSs between the two markets. They have extensive experience in similar transactions and we have every confidence in their ability to manage this process effectively. Across the board we are ramping up our US IR activities, including bringing on board Stern IR who are established experts in US biopharma and already making excellent contributions such as helping organise this week’s KOL and analyst event (available here if you were not able to catch it live https://www.4dpharmaplc.com/en/investors/reports-presentations), and increasing engagement with US-based healthcare equity analysts. Engaging a US broker is of course part of this wider process, and we have good relationships with a number of reputable firms.

Regarding the Blautix Phase II trial, that is correct we are conducting additional analyses including for example sub-group and microbiome analysis. At this stage we are unable to provide further guidance on exactly when these will be available. Our Business Development activities regarding the partnering of Blautix for further development and commercialisation are very much ongoing, with a number of parties engaged in active discussions. While we appreciate the desire for progress updates from our investor community, in this industry these things do not happen overnight and we are pleased with the progress we have made to date and continue to push ahead on multiple fronts.

Hi Alex - good question. Theoretically you could buy into LOAC now and it’s the same as buying DDDD. I suspect LOAC only has a handful of shareholders and they aren’t selling - I.e. there is not any liquidity. 4D IR confirmed to me that they have appointed a US broker to buy shares on AIM and sell them on NASDAQ, thereby providing liquidity for US investors.

@wonder goals - 4D and LOAC will have irrevocable undertakings from enough shareholders to pass the forthcoming resolutions. It’s a definitive merger, so the deal is effectively done and retail shareholders aren’t able to vote against it and stop it...

There will be a technical explanation for this - perhaps an email to the IR team will clear it up. No chance that a 50 % arbitrage actually exists...

Lol - don’t read anything into the stated price. Good news tho and perhaps the listing will be brought forward before the end of the year, or very early Jan. looks like terrific preparatory progress has been. Shareholder consent still to be obtained. Update from the company due imminently
