Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Q1 results will be out Monday 29th April.
Seems like yesterday but it’s a year since the smear campaign court case! A well deserved gong for SEPL pioneering in country governance! Sets the divestment foundations perfectly!
Usual caveats

5.65% short and Jupiter just come in buying 5% .
So pretty much all the short sells other than adage are out of money. I expect more insti’s to buy as Dec get index listing.
Still Jupiter have listed their phone numbers if anyone needs to give them a bell to loan some stock! lol!
Oh and don’t forget next xd to pay for!
I wonder who will buckle first and buy back stock. But remember shorts don’t have to close but you have to pay the cost of holding them!
Usual caveats
Kylie!
“ Roadside now expects to publish its results by 30 April 2024, after which the Company expects its suspension from trading will be lifted.”
They have a director on compassionate leave.
Trek
Good news is JPM and Bridgwater have burnt some stock and the SP is now higher. Again! lol!
Must try harder!
Ps don’t know if anyone here has SEPL as well. Another good quarterly payer on same sector as DEC. Xd today and sp is higher after divi!
Usual caveats.
Trek
I mean 100k + round number sells.
Trek
Over 1.5m of indicative sells today. Surely getting there. I think the sp will leap up when the 10m clears.
I mean we have racked up way more than 10m in indicative sales now. Surely the Hereford concert party are out by now or as near as but I don’t get why no TR1’s unless it’s because it’s been prior announced. Full 1% and Eve the 5% had plenty of chance to flip.
Gosh I will be posting a TR1 at this rate! lol!
Usual caveats
Trek
They will produce but atm imo they need a finance bridge, get a few million away in equity which really is no big deal, only 15% dilution at 11.5p again whilst the sp is up. That’ll see them over the repayments until the bonds then permits clear. The market may actually react positively to the removal of some uncertainty.
Usual caveats
Trek
I was in chf, very bulshy management team, full on themselves….delivered zilch!
Cyprus (VMS) and Canada known producing region but arze end of nowhere. Burned cash reloaded and burnt it again. From 15p to 0.5p!
I got out around evens having flogged some on the rise. But I remember buying back in as a trade and timed a bounce but couldn’t sell as no buyers even though the MM’s had moved the stock price well up, probably to sell what they had!
So ended up having to take best which wasn’t pretty.
Anyways they have again promised to deliver significant shareholder value = you pay for nice hotels and helicopter trips to the great outdoors! Avoid!

Gong!
“ Seplat Energy, which is Nigeria’s leading indigenous energy player, was recognised for its effective corporate governance framework and corporate governance standards.
Seplat Energy also got recognition for its exponential growth for the period, which had translated into the creation of significant shareholder value and national wealth.
Energy Times is a leading weekly newspaper based in Lagos, Nigeria, focusing on oil, gas, power, maritime and renewable energy reportage.“

It’s sure has been a long wait be we have been well paid to wait!

SEPL xd today + a special divi. SP went up now unchanged.
That’s special!
Trek
I expected 6p off Gav and then a further drop over the next few days. That’s typical of many uk xd stocks atm.
But this today is indeed something special!
SP at 5 year high and heading to the 260 highs of the 2014 IPO ‘bathtub chart’ by looks of it!
That spike up from 148 hasn’t even been threatened.
Volumes are still low and liquidity is poor indicating there is potentially a background buyer for the London stock.
They ain’t having mine!
Nice to have a growth income play of scale!
Usual caveats

To be sold or banned…

So what about the UK then. Let’s hope common sense prevails.
If Facebook (which I refuse to use) wasn’t given free access to the Chinese Market then TikToc shouldn’t have been let in in here in the first place.
It’s about as much of what they can do as have done same as Huwai.
The West got to wean itself off Chinese dependence and others for that matter! We should have a baseline of autonomy.
Usual caveats
Trek
YU group. Director sells. If you are still in follow the directors while only down 5p. You can always buy again later.
Usual caveats
Trek
Probably a bit early for you here in the UK GG. But if you buy a stock at 0800, it then goes up 10p putting you in profit do you know you can then put a stop on above your buy price the same day and protect your gain.
Anyways when you wake up in La La Land and read my post don’t expect a reply as I will be out on the golf course with friends on this bright sunny day praising how fortunate we are to be able to own even one share in any company,
I won’t be engaging with you again. Now go and make the world a better place by sharing a little happiness and not bitterness.

“ Tesla reported earnings after the bell. Here are the results.
Earnings per share: 45 cents adjusted vs. 51 cents per share expected by LSEG
Revenue: $21.30 billion vs. $22.15 billion expected by LSEG
Wall Street is projecting revenue will drop 5.1% from $23.33 billion a year earlier, which would mark the first year-over-year drop in sales since 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted production.
Tesla shares have plummeted 42% this year on concerns about weak deliveries, competition in China and the company’s ongoing price cuts. Earlier this month, Tesla reported an 8.5% year-over-year decline in vehicle deliveries for the first quarter.”
So question 1 is does a 9% revenue slide = the 42% drop in SP or is it oversold?
Question 2. Will the cost savings lead to a restoration in margins. Afterall he’s layed off thousands!
Ok those two are too difficult to answer. Try Question 3.
Is he a narcissistic twt?
lol!

Oil up 2% on slowing US manufacturing data = earlier rate rise.
Oil has held up well throughout period.
Chart on breakout. Experience says to buy shares that have reached highs. Even if they don’t go on right away they usual do to set several higher highs.
Then this divestments media noise is about!
Just seems like a perfect storm brewing here. I just don’t get why there are hardly any posters here.
For sure it’s not a ‘hot stock’ but it’s not done bad from 100p!
Usual caveats
Trek
Ps anyone looking for a small cap ‘hot stock’. Check out HEX. A US helium drilling outfit. Just IPO’d here, fully funded. Placing flip will finish soon then it should rerate. Just secured drill. V good punt IMO. Don’t see those that often.
May be averaging down. They took the bulk out in March. 880-890 ish.
https://www.lse.co.uk/share-prices/short-positions/funds/jpmorgan-asset-management-uk-ltd.html
US opened down was down about 2% probably looking at short.
On a positive if gives one a chance to get some extra yield!
JPM have been wrong so far. The long game here with the debt run off looks quite positive.
I guess for an institution the size of JPM they probably balance across books so averaging down here is pence to them.
Usual caveats
Trek
The one trade is a nonsense. I have seen stocks with 20 x 1 trades in a day and numerous other single digit trades.
The small trades or a dump of trades at the same time are usually liquidity trades by the MM or broker to move the SP or to hold it up.
There is some reference to them here in the LSE handbook.

Just refinancing. Of the 9m only 800k is for working capital rest is to pay debt with debt on better terms keeping it within the family!
They have added in the CSS sale (RNS 20th March) to further reduce debt and provide working capital.
Looks like a sensible way to spend the windfall avoiding equity dilution. Would rather they got rid of another lump of CSS though to further reduce debt but then the redemption terms seem quite onerous in favour of Dickson. There’s always something with these ‘nepotistic’ deals but with the Dickson’s owning 53.91% of the company and holdsworth adding since the Nex listing at much higher sp; I think this package will be fine esp given directors are in at higher levels.
Could do with some more divestment news though to claw back to the 20’s!
Usual caveats
Trek
Big move up today for here. 12 month high & 5 year intra day high. Have to go back to 2015 to beat 155.
I suspect the 158 prints are buys. Probably an order called for as we are up on relatively little volume.
I think the double divi works out to about 4.6p in my ISA so something else must surely be causing the rise.
Re the arbitrage. I am not aware that the shares are transferable. They are dual listed with a quantity on each exchange.
