Jonny the clown has never been any different since he joined in 2012, nine long years of sniping criticism at investors from Ed in the early days to Suzy non stop and now uncle Al. Much of it quite personal but clever enough to just stay on the line to prevent being closed down. In fact anyone who might shrink away and sell their shares, anyone would think he had an agenda against mining.......amazing performance from someone who never posts anywhere else and doesnt have any shares in Beowulf !
As most,if not all,of sweden's applications to mine have been blocked it is disingenuous to blame any CEO. During this time Sweden's rating by the Fraser institute as a country friendly to mining has fallen off the radar, clearly the blame lies with their givernment.
No more than speculation but it would be entirely in keeping with slippery politicians to approve a mine. Whilst it could pick up essential votes at an election it could equally pass the problem onto an incoming and inexperienced administration. Watching the legal challenges and rampant rioting from Greta and her disciples just might be big Stef's idea of fun.
" Despite Stefan Löfven's exit from the stage, there's lots happening politically in Norrbotten and Stockholm and the Company has renewed optimism, that with a new Prime Minister and Minister of Enterprise due to take office in the coming weeks, a change in leadership has to be a stimulus for decisions on permit applications and Kallak."
"The Board will be watching closely to see if there are signs of a decision being taken. If not, then we will seek alternative recourse."
Could refer to taking the legal path if no progress ?
An interesting article Suzy, thanks. Might be Ibra couldnt bring himself to say yes after Unesco but had run out of delaying tactics and runs away ! We will get there eventually but there will be more guerilla warfare fron the greens.
The mood will be changing after the EU have been forced to show its dependency on Russia. The political scene will be forced to reign back on the eco madness and approvals will get progressed after COP conference.
Paul, few would disagree that lbjj has been proven to be right but that doesnt excuse his personal attacks on posters. He may have understood the strength of the lobby against mining that we,in the UK,failed to appreciate so quickly. Fair play to him for that but with no stake in thè company ??? That is no cause to then attack the CEO who was in the middle of the thankless task trying to reconcile complete dishonesty and weakness of decision makers versus eco zealots and separatist Sami campaigners. Many believe he has done as much as could be expected when we learn how the IPCC have twisted matters against mining. I still believe it will happen now that politicians are coming under pressure for the economy and the media begin to see through Greta the glove puppet pushing emissions elsewhere in the world to a higher level.
Breca made predictions of non approval in 2011-12 based on particular knowledge from local or green campaigning sources, most of which were spot on. He/she left mid 2012, lbjj arrived in april 2012 and launched into personal attacks on Ed who was very supportive of this company. There is a pattern yet we can only guess but that is what secretive people do,conceal their agenda and dismiss any theories from an apparently honest position.
He has attacked almost everyone on this board since joining in 2012,beginning with personal attacks on Ed , Eric and Suzy, anyone who has expressed positive comments on BEM. Never posted on any other company and always negative with special attention to discredit the CEO. This is unbalanced or agenda directed, could easily be BrecaBronding in a new identity.
