Wasn’t it DQE that drilled gazelle and Heron 1 for MATD. Great rns I thought and Heron 2 and 3 were planned to be drilled in q4 anyway so not sure why so many negatives. GH, really appreciate your detailed posts but he clearly said 2000 BOPD not average, I’m going to re listen to the interview later as he may have said just over or in excess of 2000 BOPD. We have also gone from 2700 ish BOPD to 1700 ish BOPD despite all the drilling hits last year. Agree, despite all that we seem to be priced too low but the market knew this mid year taking us from 6p to 2 p levels and possibly when ASH went splash mid year but we find out after the big cheeses have taken out there slice. The cash balance thing for me isn’t so much the issue as I don’t expect them to be holding a huge amount going to what he always mentions the 90/10 allocation but many on here have repeatedly said cash balance must be huge etc when that wasn’t likely in my pigeon knowledge!

Canetoad, I did see your previous posts some time ago and you clearly were in the general ball park when many were not including me. BL whilst optimistic is clear and concise in his interviews but clearly said 2000 BOPD and personally for me that comment is unforgivable as he must have known the true figure and he needs to address that in my opinion but as you say it’s the RNS that we should use as you rightly have done. Not sure where sp goes but the update clearly justifies why we have not been much higher

The issue for me is BL said clearly in Nov 2000 BOPD. In Jan 2021 update 2195 BOPD, we have 5 successful drills and guided for 2022 H1 at in excess of 500 BOPD less. That is not good year at all. The asset sales update does not inspire coinfidence and maybe having to extend borrowing facility maybe as they can’t afford the 2022 drill campaign. 2021 looks like a busted flush year. Not happy.

And I bet take it back to 3.5 b4 the journey back above 4. Wouldn’t surprise me if that plays out today .

The way UOG and their Egypt partners are expanding the drilling maybe that is the discussion. It’s 30 million dollars or a bit more needed to drill that first well and if it goes well then get a big partner in. Would not surprise me if at least 1 of the Egypt partners will be involved and UOG will be close to what they need to fund half i fancy

Only 1 for 16 so probably very small amounts of shares but quite a few people taking it up and no trade fee either.

Personally I think there will be some sort of farm in with heron and some of the money raised will end up funding the raptors anyway.

If they could have raised higher they would have, not sure there is any value if he publicly said that and as he did say current shareholders were given the option to participate in the raise, and by the way if the open offer had not been available current holders would have winged about that anyway.

Hi bebeto, great hedge for the BP deal but it’s only a small proportion of the higher production. It seems a good opportunity to hedge more to guarantee the revenue and potentially only a smaller farm out for the jam drill
