Trade is still very low here. Unless these guys wake up and give some more news on what they're doing I can't see this changing.

From todays Investors Chronicle: Nearly half a dozen Malaysian technology companies found their way onto Aim in the past 18 months. most including Macromac (MACC) and Rapid Cloud International (RCI) are using the money raised to fund expansion into the rest of Asia. Investors clearly hope they will be as successful as Fusionex International (FXI), a Malaysian enterprise software company that floated on Aim in december 2012 at150p and currently trades at 321p. But we would urge caution here given the ultra competitive nature of Asian markets and unique set of challenges faced by young companies expanding abroad. End of..... Not exactly optimistic but results from this company will do the talking.

Last low on the ask 85p, previous to that 82p. Where will the support line be this time ??.....

You and Zatcha have a fair line of argument but I'm wondering if the fact that we are not a penny stock is having an effect here. I'm in with 1400 shares at 75p and have'nt traded it because its a small investment. Only picked it up on its second day of trade and should have had the courage to go in bigger. Apart fom this market sentiment is playing games with my other stocks like TPL which is busy drilling, producing and well funded. Frustration is the order of the day. Iqe is another example. Rising revenues, sales profits etc but the market anticipates problems with its business. Just got to hold on and wait for the market to turn. May add here if the sp pulls back but that should'nt happen.

I'll never understand markets. Why after good news does this sp retreat. any thoughts anyone...???

Looks like my Friday prayer has been answered. Maybe Zatcha's bet will come off. Looks like a good tie up. Will be interesting to see if trading volumes pick up. Wider investor interest is needed.

Volumes are very low here and therefore difficult to add. This maybe the bottom but its going to be difficult to buy a decent amount at a cheap price unless volumes improve. It would help if they put out some news. I assume plans to move into Indonesia are going ahead. However of course that will likely push the price up higher out of my buy range. Its all a bit of a conundrum as to what's happening in this company.

I would just say Rapid Cloud wants a presence in the London Market which gives it a better profile. It allows both institutions and private investors to have a participation. Its as much pr as anything else. It will allow the company to raise more capital for expansion should it choose to do so., as an alternative to raising capital from private investors. There are always pros and cons to becoming a publicly quoted company as opposed to being private. The BOD have chosen this route. Outside of Malaysia and its neighbours RCI had no profile at all unless I'm mistaken. Now it has even if in a small way but its a start. As for the future profitability we will have to wait and see. I thought that raising capital through an ipo was to grow the business by opening offices in Indonesia or perhaps buying a few bolt on acquisitions along the way. Businesses need capital to expand and I assume this is seen as a better way than borrowing from the banks. The market seems to like this share for the moment. We're up in a down market today so that's not bad. We'll have to wait for news about the way forward and hope that won't be too long. That should result in better trading volumes and a lower spread. Even this little outfit is profitable, pays a small dividend and has some growth prospects.

Will wait and watch for an entry price that suits my book. I'm always overpaying for everything or selling too early at a loss when my patience gives out. Worth trading this as well imo.

Agree with your comments. Allenby says we are priced at a near 50% discount to our peers on this one. Disappointed that the IC has failed so far to mention it in their results page, having covered it on the date of the ipo. My chief regret was not buying more on the opening day. Picked up 1400 the following day at 75p which is too little. Will have to wait and see if it pulls back before adding. Not all that likely imo.

Allenby capital has put a fair value of 101p here. If this continues to pull back it will worth adding.

Extraordinary low volumes on a results day. Very strange. Have seen days of 50k plus trades following the Ipo launch, so its not exactly on nobody's radar. The company's been presenting to analysts so please anyone keep a look out for articles in the coming days and weeks.

Its what I feared would happen. The issue price of this stock was 54p or thereabouts. The sp leapt up to117p on a spike and retreated. Its still roughly double the price so the market seems unwilling to push it up further at this stage. Under the radar it may be but the directors are not well known in this country. That may prove irrelevant in time as the business progresses. As I tap away on the keyboard the company is presenting to analysts in London as of 9.30am and this may attract further attention from investors when they report their findings. Not sure whether the presention video will appear on the RCI website. Its already had a mention in The Investors Chronicle and will probably appear in the results column this friday or next. Like you I see growing sales, revenues and profits which is pleasing because its what really counts. I only bought 1400 shares at 75p and should have got in for multiples of that, but missed the boat by a day and jumped in on guesswork more than anything else. May go for more if there's a pullback. Not convinced that's likely.

A bit of an afternoon sell off here and sp volatile on low volumes. Have'nt seen any negative write ups on this company, but reckon we're all a bit in the dark regarding its prospects. Hope interims will be out first thing tomorrow morning. then I can decide whether to sell or add more here.

Interims out next tuesday. Should provide direction for this company going forward. Market continuing to be volatile regarding US QE issues and rising debt ceiling to meet federal spending requirements. Slightly concerned about funding for expansion here, but assume all be revealed in the week ahead. Crossed fingers.

Sold 2k for a tiny profit. Retaining original1400. Retrace before interims looks a possibility. If it happens I may add again for the results.

I am able to count more than 20,000 buys here today on share trades, so what's with the nonsense here. Have to say volume lower than yesterday and maybe sp rise already getting a little tired. Can't make up my mind whether the interims will be considered as factored into the current sp level or not. Maybe we're running ahead of ourselves.
