"That's Transhaven who knows everything that's happening in Wyoming" - nope Careful, I certainly do not know everything that is actually going on in Wyoming, I have never claimed to. Nor does anyone posting on this board know everything about what's happening.
All we can do is read what has been posted in RNSs, guess and hope!....better to stay grounded though and work to figures that the CEO has put out rather than whatever the current narrative being pushed on here by the ultra orthodox ramping brigade!
Easy - Why would I be trying to dampen positivity? Why would pointing out what the CEO has stated be an attempt to dampen positivity? What planet are you even on.
I am just trying to inject some reality into the statements and aspirations made by others. Obviously it would be great if we were to leap into the 2000 + range months ahead of 2024 but it is not exactly likely is it now? No it is not.
SteveV how are they going to magically jump to 2000 by Dec/Jan?
People need to start listening to the CEO more. They want to get above 2000 on average in 2024. GGS and other improvements will take take to give good results.
Also we are not due to hear anything till the end of this month/start of next for Octobers figures.
Q&A this week? No confirmation of that at all and no where to ask the questions yet so not sure that is even happening.
Yes I recall that day well, was in 2018 or 2019. He did a video presentation saying no more placings and then like 2 days went and did one! Probably that happened multiple times and we just got numb to it.
However I think those days are behind us as we have a new production focused CEO who has given very realistic expectations for production within realistic timelines, i.e. above 2000 on average for 2024.
What is sad to see here is people peddling Arthur's lies still and over egging the expectations on production.
We will come good over the next 6 months I think so would recommend holding or even buying in at these levels.
Wookie there is sadly nothing that you could legally get Arthur on.
Nigerian licences for example, all Arthur did was say that they are "coming soon" with vague updates so there is nothing legally you could get him on.
I fear it is the same with the how he has framed the supposed JV. No details, no timelines, no promises. They dangle a LOI but that is the same - no details, no timelines no promises so therefore talks can cease and there is no legal ramifications on Arthur or COPL as a whole.
Arthur and the JV talks have been sidelined so to speak which I think is a good move as it then enables us to focus on the actual oil in the ground and increasing production. So it is not all doom and gloom but anyone thinking Nigerian licences or anything else connected to Arthur will happen could end up a little upset!!!
fin - thanks for summing up the problem here. no just because you have invested in something it doesn't follow that you mindlessly ramp the share. you can in fact still have balanced and meaningful debate as to the state of the investment.
anyone thinking that because you have invested you immediately have to start telling falsehoods and "ramping" like lots do on here is totally and utterly wrong. in fact anyone that thinks like this is a warning tell tale sign of where our society has gone wrong.
that thinking leads to people being fake, leads to everyone being plastic salespeople and basically the end of normal society. also very american and not british. horrid values.
no. you can be invested in something and still be balanced with your view. very odd and very off fin that you think everyone invested in copl should ramp it. disgusting infact
shaa, i read this board a lot and have never once seen any ****** comments.
"R*cists" ????!!!!! Who is that aimed at? Weirdo.
OK lets see if we have Q3 results next week then :)
You want to ramp this to hell? Be my guest. You want to set false expectations? Be my guest. But do expect people to call you out on these falsehoods.
"Looking good going into Q3 results next week.
No reason why when field flooded reacted BEYOND EXPECTATIONS, that is can’t do production wise now GGS installed."
1. There are no Q3 results due next week - please do not set expectations to fail
2. GGS will take time to work, anyone expecting huge surges like your ramping post suggests will be in for a world of disappointment. Production is being increase slowly but surely. Please set expectations accordingly or re-read the CEOs position on increasing production in the RNSs.
We will know this year about our JV partner will we? Where did you get that from? Or just wishful thinking. The latter I presume.
Hope your wishful thinking makes you feel better about your investment.
Never said we didn't Dicky...However we were talking about a Q&A session with the CEO.
PS love your JV timelines. Care to plaice (sic) a wager with FF on it being signed off in January, because I would not!!!
Just my thoughts Duster. If there is solid JV news then surely that would just be announced and there is nothing to suggest any progress has been made there.
Therefore I am assuming that it will be just production related as JV talks are not under Cowen.
Pretty sure they will head off all JV questions saying that keep questions to the topic of COPL Operations, ie oil and will just not respond to the JV questions. Would make sense and normally how these things go. Cowen is CEO and the JV talks have been side-lined to Arthur. Unless Arthur is in the Q&A session, in which case it JV questions would be valid.
However Cathy is saying that "Mr. Cowan and Mr. Gaffney will first present an overview" not Arthur.
Anyone investing in this needs their head examined by a quantum computer. Oh, wait they don't exist yet, a bit like this company.
FF no one in their right mind would have betted on a JV by Dec 23. Who has betted against you?
Would be interesting to see a crowd all trying push the same brush at the same time.
Was meant to be announced 1st Nov Brattus. Let's see if they bother to update us by close of play
Maybe announced Canada open time Stas but really who cares about the NED stooge. You make a good point regarding the CEO. I will judge him on if he can get production above 2000 and beyond. Comms wise the guy is a 10/10 fail!
What on earth are Doc and Sage going on about. We all know what a NED does no need for insults you trolls...
All I am saying is that we need more doers rather than executives. The person who had not even been announced is more likely to be a plant from finance companies to push their agenda rather than anything that can help COPL get oil out the ground. Let's appoint useful NEDs when we are a much bigger business that can stand on its own legs without endless bonds and share issue.
It would be beyond hilarious (also impossible) if Art was the new NED!!!!
Oh wise Sageman, I know 2 NEDs that report to a public body and 1 from a private company. So yes I do know exactly what a NED does which is what I have stated and you have added to. No difference in what I was saying with what you were saying. They are not an active manager like a CEO and not hands on. They are advisory at most and often political plants.
Some here think that the NED will kick start our production into high gear, I am dispelling them of that illusion.
We need to be concentrating on the actual operation not suits sitting round a table. More hard hats, less suits, or basically anyone that can get this stuff out the ground!
