Another interesting question would be: "If you were at break even point with NFX, would you pull out your investment?"

I am curious how many are here still because they are massively down on initial investment, they have averaged down a lot and are now emotionally attached to the investment.

Well, I added more shares over the last couple of months in the hope that we had hit the bottom after the last small placing.

Since then I have requested more information (twice) about orphan status and have generally been reading more into NFX. Perhaps I should have done this reading and questioning prior to spending £5k of savings....

I got no reply to a basic question so I asked again. No reply. Not even a holding message. No one on here (LSE) or the telegraph group is able to answer any basic questions. There is zero comms coming out from the company.

There is no clear roadmap to market for anything NFX are working on. Therefore I will be taking my money, once we go back up a couple of pence, out of NFX.

Why am I posting this? No idea. Perhaps because I have FOMO and think there might be a big rise here? Or to open a conversation:

"Why are you still invested here?" - that is the question I would put to the good posters on this LSE forum. I will also ask the same question on the telegram group.

And with that analysis do you have any estimates on likely timescales for key SP changing events to happen?

I think an investment now would be pretty safe in terms of downside being reached. What are others thoughts.

Strangely yes when I refer to NFX I was actually looking at NFX. It started at 0.18 was was up to 0.22 early doors, it then dropped back to 0.18.

I did not get a response, yet.

I do notice however a nice rise this morning, someone is interested in buying into NFX :)

OK I have emailed them. the @investor-focus part means that it is a generic PR company employed will be answering so this is not an ideal way to communicate with the company. But better than nothing.

Soup is the most informed and balanced investor I have seen on the LSE forums over the last 6 years.

He is very much appreciated here and I also hope he is ok and has just gone on snooze mode as there is not a lot happening here!

The link above tells how to apply for Orphan Drug Status. A bit of googling brought up companies that will do the application for you with turn around times (decision) of around 30 days.

So we really need to get from NFX the status of the application. Perhaps we could approach the company again with a more closed questions:

What date did you apply for Orphan Drug Designation and when are you expecting to find out the result of the application.

I think Mr Tim might avoid giving an answer to this which will show us that the application has either failed or that they have not applied yet. But either way "NXP002 is a likely candidate for Orphan Drug Designation”, but it has not been granted this status yet." simply does not cut the mustard!

What a vague response it was though. No dates as to when the application was made so we non the wiser. I wonder why such a vague unhelpful response was given by Tim.
