I'd say the reality of this company is somewhere between destitute's desolate bias and terrafin's surprising optimism. It has assets, it has production and it has exploration. All good signs in my opinion but it needs time, will the share price drop some more? of course, it will if there are no hard figures released. However, there is also no denying that once it starts seeing revenue from Italy it should start seeing some decent profit, a year on from that we'll see a good rise. I'd say this one is a waiting game, I'd rather see us wait this out and bank some cash than do any more dilution though. imho.

To be fair I think there is a huge disconnect on all these new oilers just now unless there is hard cash in the bank and regular income the market is viewing them as bags of s**t...

1) Where is the money going to come from and how and what manner will it be raised for Spain 49% and Spanish drill?
2) Just want to know how Tesorillo will be funded, farm out?
3) How does Petrel Energy plan to pay for their costs, as they don't have any funds either?
4) Any Grancesti work over, or any more drilling in Romania, this year.
5) Will Tesorillo be drilled in Q4 or Q1 next year?
6) Share buy back on the horizon?
7) Why has there been no formal figures reported for Romania production?

If production figures are good and cash flow is healthy, then there is no reason why this doesn't remain a good investment. It's easy to get carried away with that silly raise but I still think that it was a "need cash quick" scenario but of course like everything that everyone is posting on here about it, it is purely speculation... shortly we will see some figures and if they look good we'll all put our other hat on and scream how amazing Ed and the team are. only my opinion though.

Still a very strong hold for me. Maybe even a top up if the low price continues to next week. I've always thought this would be a 12-month hold, did I buy into the hype? of course I did that what makes oilers fun. Still can't be upset with a potential 15m barrel find can we?

I agree that too many people are unrealistic on the timeframe. This is a slow moving company, doesn't make it bad or suggest that it's in a bad way if anything it suggests they are being thorough. in 12 months if they have Italy online it will sit comfortably at .6's but I personally do not see this ten bagging before they have produced (on a decent scale) for 18-36months reported. imo of course, but we can dream

I've only recently jumped on this wagon but I think this one could be a 2-year hold for me, don't get me wrong we all want that one share that just heads for the stars without looking back but in reality, patience is what's going to make decent cash in the current market...

the company is doing the right things and more importantly, they're communicating it as they go... let the results flow steadily and I'll top up as we wait... it's silence that scares me...

I see a lot of people criticizing Ed on various forums about the way he talks/presents himself in these interviews but it's important to remember that even though he has a degree in engineering, he's not an engineer let alone a reservoir engineer, his background is in finance... imho he's doing a bang up job

There is still a lot of work to be done before we see this reaching its full potential! hopefully, we'll all enjoy this ride together!
