Not a DIY man myself however I've never had a contractor complete a job on time or on budget... I've worked in oil for 10 years, never seen anyone do anything on time or on budget... these timescales are for planners and anyone worth their salt I O&G knows that a planner is more of a historian...

Surely the drill time is entirely dependent on what they are drilling through? I don't know if it's a fair statement to say 45/50 days to drill 2061m is a fair statement without knowing exactly what they are drilling through? I mean it would be a ridiculous amount of time if they were going through sand but if they're going through dense rock then surely it's expected to go through some delays?

Spiral grooves on the external surface of the drill pipe reduce differential sticking and improve flow characteristics of the drilling mud.

I heard the flare stack is so big they have to take it down each night to let the moon go by...

To me this looks like a photo-op (a great one well times)... I won't be expecting any game-changing updates for another 2-3months at least. The PXOG guys said at the investor show they hadn't had much interaction with WGO guys so I think this will be them finally getting a meet and greet to make sure they're on the same wavelength.

Who really knows though? One thing is for sure, there are exciting if not nerve-racking times ahead.

Personally, I don't see anything shifting this substantially other than large cash flow and good production figures. I don't want to sound negative, people on this board will know that I've been invested for a while however if you look across the boards of other companies, there is nothing shifting them higher other than production figures. This will do well but not to the point you have to claim "I wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend" In the immortal words of Panic at the disco;

Matteh, when I spoke to the guys at PXOG at the UK investor show a couple of months ago they were pretty certain the way the would be funding Spain would be through issuing more shares when asked on the timescale the reply I got was, once the MT results are in and they have a better idea of what they have. They reckoned it would be Christmas this year however they also said that was them being conservative and it could come in earlier.

Still a hold for me. Although they should have the new well online before Christmas the SP will take a knock (I imagine a big one) when the dilution comes. I'm optimistic about this one to fly but I'm just not sold on it happening this year... I do hope to eat my words though!! IMHO

the guys at PXOG told me at the investor event that it would be the dream scenario for them to be both producing before Spain comes to fruition but it's likely they won't be. which is good news and bad news, the bad news is dilution is inevitable good news is that they are expecting the MT results before the end of the year.

Gunner, think i answered the majority of your questions a few weeks back after the uk investor show when i went to talk to the guys at PXOG.

I think we got a glimmer of the potential this share has last week but at the end of the day, it's a year away from a significant increase in value imho.

This is still a hold for me, I will neither be topping up or selling... I think this will be the only news for a while and will see the price fall again... Not deramping as many will know I've held this little company for a while and don't intend on going anywhere soon.
