Ironknut your point is valid and i'm sure a lot of investors feel the same way. My faith stems from the now cash positive position KMK are in and their ability to secure to siemens deal seems like a serious step in the right direction.

I'm excited to see what BATM's next announcement will be and if it will include further updates on the restructuring - i think its a no brainer for BATM to sell off non core subs/clear debts off the group books and freeing up cash. They would benefit highly from a more narrow strategy rather than heavy diversification in my opinion.

Battletech It's important to maintain a balanced perspective. While some may hold the views you've expressed, it's inaccurate to state that the market has definitively lost confidence. From what i can see KMK are on the right track to building some momentum in the market and perhaps prove some naysayers such as yourself, wrong.

Great news that KMK are straight out of the blocks as well looking at 35% growth year on year. Even if the figure is lower its still a huge positive to see KMK in the green.

Definitely a step in the right direction and something that i would have hoped out of BATM. My fear was the BATM was afraid to change their model but this has proved me wrong. Positive things to come one can assume!

Great article and really highlights the unique position KMK is in. Hopefully will start to attract some positive market sentiment soon, long overdue for many investors.

Lets not forget that KMK are in a unique position to show us their actual potential with their financial position..

Would love to see a few positive RNS's in the near future to push through any negative skepticism. once that barrier is broken i feel the SP can finally gain traction

Skid i think KMK are poised to showcase their business acumen over the next FY - give n the position theyre now in. Once this has been proved (hopefully) future contracts/deals will hold much more weight and we can see the SP sticking at a higher base

I know you're saying this is a case of cry wolf. However we have seen the results of the Siemens deal and the likelihood of success is ever increasing. KMK hasn't been in this position in a long while so it will be interesting to see how they build upon this base over the next FY.

If Telco is to make a comeback in 2025 they need to focus on their sales strategy. As a product Telco is top tier but its just not gaining the traction it needs to take off. Risks? Betting too big on partners or missing the market’s pulse. But land a 5G win or a smart-city gig, and they’re off.

Stuart the troughs have started to show the rising trend u speak of. 6p is now the new baseline as i repeatedly mention. We need a string of positive RNS to push the SP up to a new floor - hopefully we are trading around the 7/8p mark by Q3 if KMK management utilise their unique cash positive position.

Agree with incontexts point. Selling Telco Systems to a buyer with the expertise and resources to turn it around makes absolute sense—BATM’s core strengths clearly lie elsewhere, as evidenced by the solid growth in Cyber and Diagnostics. The company’s restructuring efforts,like the management shake up and refocused sales strategy in Networking, are steps in the right direction. offloading this division could free up capital and attention for more promising areas.

KMK's next SP drive will have to come from a string of positive news. Much like other investments of mine, nothing material seems to hold unless consolidated with further good news down the pipeline. As i mentioned before, now we have a floor of around 6p, we can hope to see a gradual rise in SP over the next FY with a steady stream of (hopefully) good news.

IronKnut, this seems to be the trend with a lot of stocks I have holdings in - over promising and under delivering. However, the positive cash position this FY will allow KMK to achieve its goals and hopefully growth. I think this FY we will see promises delivered.

Whilst a fully fledged PR team would be a nice touch, well have to see how the market sentiment reacts to forthcoming positive news (hopefully). We have a new Sp floor around the 6p mark and i can only see an upwards trend for here.

Note further that the supply agreement mentioned in the RNS will provide a steady income base for the next financial year.

Balanced66, what you say is correct that the business needs to start becoming profitable. KMK's now cash positive position should now allow them to make the business profitable for the foreseeable (banking on Mngmt making correct decisions). It will be interesting to see come post April (end of financial year), how KMK utilises the opportunity.

Here we go again with the half glass empty chat, I’m not sure what you expected? Did you expect the SP to have crypto level volatility? No.. the biggest takeaway from the Siemens deal is that KMK now have the platform to make growth decisions since they are finally profitable this year. Once that has been dealt with then the SP will follow suit and correct itself. By now most of the shorts/short term holders would have been flushed out so we can start to see a steady increase in SP throughout the year.
