At what point does an RNS automatically become a requirement to disclose the reasoning behind a share price rise?

I'm on that hopeful side too Ahfam, but I was hopeful for a little more news on Wednesday rather than the same old slides slightly amended. A billion or two deal would be wonderful, but that could be a little way off yet. Like you say a golden opportunity to top up. Seriously looking at a decent holding increase later this week should the share price continue to slide. Not sure what the non-tox would yield, but £5-£8 seems low, we jumped to £3 on a sniff of news historically.

Yep a big change in spending, hopefully a necessary evil. The investors won't like that short term, could be a drift down on Wednesday without any positive news to counteract the spending with little or no progress to show.

Looking at the RNS in more detail, CTA hasn't been refused, nor has the MHRA stated anything, in fact Sareum still don't have a formal response, so whilst the UK application is still being sorted, the BoD have sought out (alongside) alternative paths to CTA as they said they would. Whilst it's not a positive RNS from the PoV of the UK application, it's certain a good step in the right direction. Should pop the brakes on the SP falling any further for now, and perhaps we might hear in due course from the MHRA on what is going on (hopefully only a backlog / delay on their front).

Just that the stock isn't going anywhere, either up or down. Plus the MMs have control, keeping the stock low to "generate shareholder value" when the time comes

There's possibly a multitude of reasons, most likely a competitive compound GSK are more interested in, but also don't forget there may be a legal reason / loophole in the original Sierra contract. The other reason perhaps might be, GSK need to give it back if they want to be at the negotiating table for patent purchase / takeover / acquisition talks? Lots of negative and positive reasons perhaps why the gave it back. We may never know

Hi price today due to high spread. MMs setting prices to allow a trigger to pull if required, but to keep the price from creeping on no news. Sets a level to allow the demand only to push the price. I get a sense something's due, like Warthog said, 12 weeks since CTA rejection and only good sentiment doesn't drive a business forward.

I agree it is disappointing to not hear anything yet, but it may be that the 14 days from official receipt of letter hasn't expired yet, the RNS indicates they were notified but awaiting formal letter.
This could mean the BOD might have been able to delay the letter being issued formally through a counter submission of data to satisfy the CTA queries, but are awaiting confirmation that all is good/bad or more info required. Or perhaps didn't receive the formal letter until after the 18th Nov ? I doubt the BOD can firmly issue to the market to advise on further progress or delay, they are probably in a similar waiting game as the investors are, but tied up with the CTA, MHRA and the review by the UK Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Monitoring Authority. GLA, I hope the result of all this patience is rewarded, but such is AIM it could go either way.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but Item 3 in the checklist could be why more information has been requested to ratify Sareum's application. You could assume/hope items 1, 2 and 4 have been carefully answered, but item 3 may be where the facility may not have been part of the GLP compliance programme? Thus more information is required by either the lab or Sareum to check they are in line with the GLP guidance?

Other interesting points are that data supplied could be considered "too clean"? Whatever judgement that falls under, more evidence could be required.

AIM is shoot first ask later. The sentiment is exactly that. Led astray with promises of CTA approval this year. AIM doesn't like change, nor does it like delay. News of the reasoning or CTA Approval pending further information should restore the SP to some degree, but for now the SP has no weight behind it. A decline for now. Opportunity for some if you look at the silver lining. Good luck to all LTHs. Luckily the current £0.90 (1.8p old money) isn't a bad position for some, i do feel for those who had hopes of spring board from 6p (£3).

Late trade last friday declared at 1713, with a min 15 minute delay there's still time to see an indicator the cat is out of the bag. Perhaps the PMEs put a halt to the late trades though
