I have followed this co for a while especially as I used to know Malcolm Gillies when he was a lawyer at S&W (I dealt with him on the other side of a transaction). He seems to be the largest shareholder here. I know a couple of folk who are connected with the company but they (quite rightly so) are giving nothing away! Slow but steady and one to watch.

Nothing has changed though. Still delisted and pretty much unregulated now so you can understand my negative sentiments...

No position but has been on watchlist for long time. As a former CNE, BLVN investor, I have learnt to be patient! Some saga here though! ATB

WShak knows what he is doing, after all, this is not the first stock he has shorted. If FRR go bust, his debt will be cancelled and his collateral will be returned. I have not met Mr Shakoor but he has made accurate calls on the likes of CTAG, FITB etc. I have met Mr Kempster before at an AGM and he clearly knows his stuff on O&G so I would pay heed on what he has to say too! Not looking good here. I have met Malcy too - first time when he was at Wood Mackenzie in the 1980s. Is he a paid promoter? I do not know - has anyone emailed him to confirm?

My sentiments exactly. The red flag is Biya, MOM and Camop. The endemic corruption in Cameroon means Etinde might as well be on the moon. It is virtually an intangible asset just now. COC will sell to NA or LUK and I am guessing @40p. FID was suppose to be 2013. I first bought @158 and sold @400p. I never trusted Kerry after Sapele. Against my better judgement, I bought again @137p. I averaged down @26p and sold @56p after Etinde so it's been a roller coaster ride. I met most of the directors. And knew KH pretty well. It's some story, so much for getting the "tiger by the tail" and "transformational". I wonder how the story ends?

I wonder if any of the Directors will buy given the significant drop since the IPO? They certainly have the cash following the IPO. Wait and see for me.

So sorry for all those who have lost their capital here. AiM is a cesspit at times. Have seen the likes of CTAG, FITB et al and fear the same for FRR. Cannot see any Nomad touching this. Best Wishes for 2019

Correct. Big Pharma have doubtless run their rule over this minnow and probably do not consider VAL's products worthwhile. This was always a fly or die share and I fear it has turned into the latter.

No point fighting against a headwind which could push this down to a more sensible valuation. The POO and weak pound v. the dollar are not helping

COC did not realise the sheer amount of hard work Hart & co had to deal with in dealing with camop etc. He conceded the G&A was horrendous but that was a result of dealing with all the delays, corruption and mind-numbing bureaucracy (having to wait for the infirm and ageing Biya approve presidential decrees waiting in his inbox for months). The only way out is a sale of the assets. The longer COC wait, the opportunity cost gets higher and they will be forced to divest themselves of a poor investment at a breakeven price if they are lucky. Cameroon are not interested in Etinde. Google it - you will not find anything of note.

Well put. NA quite happy to shaft BLVN given their prior court action and in no hurry to do BLVN any favours. LUK will take their time. Cameroon MOM corrupt as anything so nothing will happen in 2019 I guess. Bomono a bust and a w/o.

No positives I am afraid. BLVN were always at the mercy of LUK/NA. FID was originally 2014 I think. I was recently in Paris and saw a trade magazine for Cameroon O&G and Mining - no reference whatsoever to Etinde.

I very much doubt it - big pharma will have run the rule over this minnow and clearly the market is unimpressed. Directors have so little skin in the game. Have watched for several years - now off my watchlist.

So FRR need to raise more funds - slight liquidity problem then!. FRR likely to raise funds as indicated in RNS to pay off upcoming debt obligations. Still no news from interest from majors...

Apart from the POO and the discovery potential of O&G, BLVN has been hamstrung by excessive delays and corruption in the MOM and elsewhere. No one believes the story anymore. I had a few meeting with KH and other ex-directors and heard the woes of dealing in francophone Cameroon. Buying Tabetando with his links to the Govt (godson is Mbeki) proved to be fruitless. I doubt COC took much interest in this - West Africa is all for the Chinese and Russians. I might be wrong but doubt this will be a Kosmos.

Not surprised this was not released to the market in normal timely fashion - a sea of red flags. One to avoid. Flow rates anyone?
