Exactly and very well summarised. FID was scheduled for 2013, 14, 15, 16, 16, 17, 18..... It depends whether LUK and NA can be bothered with Etinde just now. The corruption and headwinds they are up against is enough to make anyone give up and I wonder how KH persevered over the years. NA of course are not disposed towards BLVN and will not forget the court action raised against them by their erstwhile "partner". NA and LUK will bide their time and Biya could not care less (and has not cared) about Etinde benefitting Cameroon unless there is a significant personal inducement made to his family. A binary bet indeed!

They had a disappointing quarter and have been dragged down by its peers. Quiz of course are both bricks & mortar and online and I know the Directors are working very hard to increase their online presence. Probably best to wait and see as this could fall further (brexit etc).

You insinuated I am a "deramper". I am not and never have been. My own opinion is (at present) this is too risky as an investment I will wait for an update on the FDA situation in an RNS and see how things are then. By the way, it's "you're" not "your".

Clearly you are a novice and have rose-tinted spectacles on when it come to dealings on AIM. The bod should have allayed fears of further trials being required in the RNS. They chose not too and hence the price tanked 90%. SP will fall further until clarity on funding and FDA outstanding issues

Thanks - that is of some assurance but for good PR and expediency, should have been included in the RNS. If so, SP would not perhaps have dropped so drastically. Mr Market hates uncertainty.

And if GM resigns the SP will surely tank...

Good point re funding. My concern is that although Motif is not obliged to disclose to us full details of the CRL, I would hope the BOD would disclose any material information that might require indicate further clinical trials being required. Non-disclosure to shareholders of such material information would be an offence.

Possibly. We do not know the specifics in the CRL but perhaps fair to assume the specific issues not mentioned hint towards another clinical trial before a resubmission. I hope not!

Good point. The FDA do re-assess and advise on current drugs on the market if they pertain to tox. They are becoming ever more stringent.

I hope so. We need clarity on the outstanding FDA requirements regarding liver toxicity and assurance re future funding. The FDA are real sticklers for ensuring there are no issues with serious liver toxicity in clinical trials as drugs (and dietary supplements) can wreak havoc and cause dangerous liver problems and drug-induced liver injuries. That’s the crux of it here and Motif is now a binary bet – it will either fly or die. I would also like to see the Directors each acquiring a significant stake in a placing (if this is the case).

Sorry to hear that. It's sometimes best to cut loose then desperately hope for something to happen. This type of share is death or glory - a binary bet and the downside can be painful. I am still watching and will wait until there is clarity on the FDA position as there is too much risk at the moment especially with another fund raise due.

Maybe nothing but fear and uncertainty are an anathema to investors. They are probably concerned there was no reassurance (from the board) regarding the outstanding requirements required to meet FDA standards or there is now too much risk that falls short of their own compliance rules. I am surprised that the Board have not issued an RNS along the lines " we see no reason for the recent significant fall in the SP and will be providing a draft response to the FDA etc..." . Not encouraging at all.

Agreed. Too much uncertainty here for this to be investable even at this price. Significant insider buying would alleviate most of that concern (as that would indicate the directors are confident the issue pertaining to tox can be purified).

This is truly a nightmare and a slow car crash. I doubt anyone will get their money back here sorry to say. AIM is so unregulated and quite unlike the main market. As regards short sellers, many are normal folk who see an opportunity to make money in over-inflated and fraudulent stocks (The Big Short and The China Hustle which many on you will have watched). I should know, in my 30 years of investing, I have been stung before and now am very wary of minnows promising quick bucks.

Agreed. Vey high risk even at this price and with too many imponderables to form a view. Wait and see.
