This will continue to go south- the RNS reiterates SH will be diluted to oblivion once the recapitalisation takes place (early October being D day) so suggest you get out whilst you can.

More likely it will drift down and eventually go to to zero once big equity sellers have offloaded as recapitalisation looms.

It's just plain overvalued - in the absence of any worthwhile news it will continue to slide I think.

Someone selling into the spike - ditto as per NK. Remember the colossal debt - shareholders eventually will be wiped out.

NK is probably unloading and still selling into the spike. Current yield is 27.2% of par. With negative equity of £1.6 billion, the shares are pretty well worthless - just remember this before you press Buy.

Just remember what the RNS stated:-

"Existing shareholders will be significantly diluted as part of the recapitalisation. However, shareholders may be given the opportunity to participate in the recapitalisation by way of investment alongside Fosun and converting financial creditors on terms to be agreed."

I do not want to see newbies sucked into a "sure thing" when this is not. There is no reason for anyone to be buying into TCG given the bondholders Fosun etc will end up with the company, so I am intrigued with what's happening here.

You have a lot to lose/win here - this is a fly or die share. Funding? Old tech? Mr Market just not interested. You must have cajones made of steel.

Fact is BFaith, Mr market is not interested in QUIZ so farhantahir has a point - the extended QUIZ family (non directors) appear not be to be interested in purchasing at these levels. With such poor sentiment, the SP will languish in the doldrums.

COC now realising just exactly what KH and his team had to endure with Biya's corrupt MOM etc. Cameroon is no place for a GB company to flourish - quite the opposite. The opportunity cost for COC must be sobering - they could be tied in here for years.

I think you might be right - let's see where we are in 3 weeks time. Any thoughts on initial CAPEX, IRR? Why did Total/Ithaca etc relinquish licence? I do not see this as a sure fire thing.

I agree. The traders have had their day here. The focus will be on the FDP and capex in this respect. With no short-term catalyst, I see the SP ebbing back down in the meantime.

Very good point. Uncle Tarak has made his extended family very well off and a few former employees no longer need to work. Retail is under the cosh for now. I wonder if the appetite for success is still there other than having to appease the original investors (IPO). Someone could make a bid and QUIZ are very vulnerable at this price. Could go much lower. It's a wait and see for me.

VAL just seems out of date now compared to the halcyon days at its inception. Gene therapy and stem cell appears to be leading the way in treatment. VAL 401 was a reformulation that pertained to tox and you have to wonder why big pharma have not acquired VAL by now if VAL's prospects have any realistic chance of success? Agree the directors have little skin in the game.

VAL will soon be very dark brown toast - look at the SP history. They can only spin plates for so long.

Pretty grim reading I have to say. It's a good living for the Directors (I know DC pretty well from his BLVN days). Nice dough if you can get it. A pretty fragile state of affairs. I would wait and see if there is any substance to the presumption that the Morrocco wells will be sold by the YE. Otherwise this will be toast.
