The whole region shuts down in the wet season. I expect supply to tighten over the next few months and the LME monitored stocks to drop from the current 102k tons under cancelled warrants. I doubt the 300k tons will drop until the value goes above 20k a ton and those investments become liquid. I suspect that will be in the spring.

Mwana are not the same company they were when they launched 10 years ago. I doubt anybody holds at anything like double figures average. My target is 10p and realistically by any fair measure the share price would be close to that right now. I guess you can take that as a reason to attack the management or the Aim. Personally I doubt MWA will ever achieve fair value within the Aim but that doesn't stop me making money here. With the smelter open and profit doubling then 15-20p becomes fair value and 8-10p still looks cheap. Add in 3m ozs gold becoming 6m and a plan to produce in the mid term or a Jv and 10-12p looks cheap. Share buybacks and or dividends and 10-15p of a 20-30p fair value looks cheap. What do I care, 3.2m shares at less than 2p average. I can wait for that outcome.

Corporate structure is very different from launch at 95p and then the climb to 150p. They have evolved into a mining focused company, bought and sold into several others. Zak is worth ignoring and nothing else. Ask yourself why would he bother. Mwana are making great progress and substantial profit. They are on the cusp of a meaningful re rate over the mid term.

However he is very popular in Zimbabwe. Mugabe refers to him as "my son" and he has strong ties with the other parties. He is the face of Mwana and is very effective in Zim and DRC. I care little that he does not look the part on TV, he is a CEO not a opinionated pundit

Can't understand how you opine them to be sells. Surely if they were going through at a mid price one would have to consider that positive however they are more likely to be off the market. Nickel has recovered some and Mwa will recover some also however it does not happen instantly. Kalaa was extremely relaxed at meet the miners on Monday. The results are known but clearly the full extent of the profit margin at 18000 a ton is not maintained into the current quarter. However physical performance is improving Kalaa seems to think 900 all in costs for gold is possible and another 10000 ozs a quarter is also achievable. He also points to a much better nickel performance. I see no problem beyond the Aim and the action of a few sellers. I think we can look forward to a strong Q3 performance. Near term real game changers are afoot. So I assume you are looking to buy good luck Zak. Stay out the mire.

seems to me that you are trying to recruit others to complete your idea whilst you sell out at a profit. There is something rather uncomfortable about that. You have posted about a rise into results which you think are on the 10th; oh before the 10th now. However you mention nothing about the real company changing events. I will leave you and baron to your ramping posts and look in again on the 10th when BNC release their results.

I do not understand why you have an issue. Seems to me that simply Baron has made a mistake and you have not checked. I can see how it has happened as the BNC results notice are on the MWA website. I do not care if the share price goes up or not. I have 3.2m shares in MWA but will not be selling on any short term move. I will be a buyer again below 2p and will hold at anything above 2p and a seller beyond 10p. If I get to 5 million shares I will be happy.

I suspect that he has made a mistake and read the results on the 10th as being those from MWA and not BIND.ZW. However Kalaa Mpinga did tell me yesterday that the results will be next week. My view is that the results are possibly the least significant event of the multitude of news pending now and falling due in the next 3 months or so. Drilling from the Copper JV is due February or March 2015. Q3 performance update is due January, the completion and restart of the smelter is due in the spring. In the near term it is all about the commodity values being directly relevant to the daily profit.

Bindura Nickel deliver their H1 results at briefing on the 10th December at 1200 in Harare. MWA will release their results either immediately before or after. Kalaa cannot be in two places at once. Simple really.

The Chinese would not be able to run Freda Rebecca or Bindura, Zimbabwe needs a African face at the helm. They are glad to take Chinese money but do not like or trust them they are just the only avenue open to them at the moment. Traditionally in Africa the Chinese ship in their own slave labour and do not maintain local resources or labour relations well. I do wish Mugabe ill, he has stolen everything he has, he is racist and a murderer. He has forced his Country to remain in the stone age. Hating Mugabe does not conflict with holding MWA because the people of Zimbabwe are employed in huge numbers whereas they would be starving and homeless.

I want to see MWA rise but not in ugly unsustainable spikes; I am in no hurry. The real game changers are in the mid term and of course commodity values which are currently poor. MWA can only extract this resource once and it needs to be at a strong price

Kalaa is quite sure that ZK has 10m ozs or more so I suspect if they are going to advance any resource it will be that one. Resources are not just about holes in the ground, grade or size they are about relationships with governments, proximity to power, water and labour. Kalaa has lunch with Mugabe, who calls him "my son" in conversation. He has done similar ground work in DRC; simply MWA have the best ground already in DRC and limited income currently. Kalaa was asked about the future beyond Mugabe and Kalaa has contacts across all the possibilities and has little fear. Zimbabwe needs MWA and BNC no matter how it all plays out.

Good luck with your short term trade. Unfortunately the board is open to traders who know very little about the company and are only interested in the event they have bought in for. I can see absolutely no reason for the share price to rise prior to the H1 results beyond the fact that MWA is stupidly priced based upon cash generation, asset value and near term value enhancers. Each quarter the comprehensive updates provide all the information to the market, there is nothing left undisclosed beyond the actual profit.

fair-weather friends unfortunately. I often take their buying cue as a sell for me but they are only small time now so I suspect much like the Chinese not even Blackrock can sour MWA. there are some very obvious short term focused posts here which are best ignored in my opinion. The gems in MWA's portfolio will not be unlocked with some results we already know the details of. a few percent is not where the focus should be MWA will be a multi-bag investment over 12-18 months.

This will be an option after the H1 results next week but I don't think they will do it personally. Not without substantial shareholder encouragement. It makes clear sense to me but my mindset is that of an investor and not a miner/geologist. Kalaa is keen to advance ZK. He says there could be 10m ozs there. £3m investment in drilling could add 1m ozs. How much would the AIM value that as. By the present valuation zero or even less than zero. We can't change the AIM but we can play to the features that add value. Buying Mwa at less than 5p and taking any slack shares away will lift the share price and allow a market to form at higher levels. Shareholder pressure required.

Hardy a fair one given Trojan was restarting. Any casual observer will not look beyond the headlines. The results should tell us nothing we are not aware of as far as performance financial and performance. Mwa have made healthy profit. Jam today and lots more jam in the future. Only fly in this ointment is the AIM.
