One can now sell at 48p up from 40 yesterday.
Reality is that this valuation is so far off it could rise 50% on nothing but FOMO.

Really this should move through one pound to two very quickly.
The price is based on looking back to a previous business. David says the new model pays 10x as much. I think that is very low. However the share price doesn't even see that. The share price should be 5x current immediately.

Just too cheap to stay down.

TietoEvry are ramping up their footprint in China. They cover several industry like paper pulp automation and automotive industry. They are increasing their UPF solution opportunity with a lot of Chinese language direct industry advertising and a new Chinese language website. They have 1000 employees in the Telecom sector in China and several live vacancy positions.
As we know TietoEvry are huge globally and are developing a joint product with Ethernity based on their complete UPF solution using aceNIC-100 powered UPF functional acceleration.
Clearly TietoEvry are here for big deals.

That sounds like a job. I don't do those.
I was offered once by a listed gold exploration wannabe miner but it's not my thing.
I can tease that Ethernity will release a $1m NIC order for China very soon. Around 1000 for UPF.

Around a week ago Tarana filed for FCC registration for 3.555 GHz to 3.695 GHz for the US market.
Getting ready for large scale deployment.

It won't take much to jump it up. Volumes are irrelevant but against sells it does the job.

It's nothing new. Certainly 5g at scale doesn't work and all are going to move away from adding more compute to manage volume of traffic. Simply adding cores is a non starter. They are all going to change the way they manage data or miss 5g latency.
Of course deployment will be difficult. I was talking with Mick Reeve GTO at BT about it a few weeks ago. Deployment is not a switch but a growing process. They won't be switching something off to switch something else on.
I think that the industry has a firm grip on the shortages and the challenges ahead.
Certainly way more stress is in the share price than is experienced.

Tarana is well away from that though and deploying rapidly on 20+ projects currently.
We are slowly putting names to these contracts. I believe that the Tarana numbers will be upgraded sooner than we think.

Slowly some detail emerges and it's very obvious that Tarana are going to sell millions of units a year. One Ethernity unit covers up to 512 homes.
However the Ethernity part is at the start of the deployment so the decision to deploy will be made on a handful of contracts plus potential.
Each Ethernity FPGA switch is likely to be around $1000.
Hopefully everyone can see how quickly the$2m current expectation can escalate.

Interesting article about Tarana. Gives us an idea just how golden this opportunity is.

I have read many articles about assisted and autonomous vehicles. They all are reliant on the tech inside interacting with the environment to different degrees. Once you add features like finding the nearest parking space or available charging point then 5g becomes essential.
The problem with it is the very short range and a moving connection so continuity is a problem. Enter Ethernity and their bonded tech to smooth out the connection and guarantee the integrity of the data. It's early days, I think that we'll see many features but not mainstream autonomous vehicles in the next 10 years.

5g is a lot more than a fast data link.

Just flicking back to a couple of posts from 2019 and early 2020 when I was talking about this. These should not be just 5g radio repeaters but have actual compute capacity. If 5g is going to any form of IoT capacity then autonomous vehicles and the like need instant compute nearby.....
Unless of course the vehicle has a switch like the avionics product and runs it's as an edge node. Now there's a thought.
Still a murky way forward and this is about access to real estate which is still the biggest issue.
We can say if it's in a lampost the space is a massive priority.

It's important to look at what we already know. Multiple solutions in trial Q4. Several of those are DU trials with rapid deployment. These are massive news potential events and will land. Trials are about suitability for the ecosystem and will be a swift process into deployment.
We know UEP-60 is ready, we know that David said vendors are waiting for it.
We know Tarana are pushing G1 and taking on a distributor next month. Coincidentally (not) they are also holding a Webinar to round up business.
The indoor radio unit UEP based product will quickly gain traction and produce additional sales.
Lots more opportunities for something special.

Yes nice work. This will prove a very good price. People will be scrabbling to get in at £2 soon.
