I think that it was around the 26th August that Mr100k started to sell so I think that it's quite obvious that was the point at which the strike price was negotiated. It probably didn't look so bad at a 40p share price. Also that was around the time that we were told that they were funded either until 22 or for 22 depending which you took.
I don't buy the stronger balance sheet stuff. Ethernity has unique product that's in high demand into anticipate sales next year of more than $20m. The financial risk is small but as we have seen delays are always a possibility. Given the diversity of the portfolio that risk is substantially offset.
I expect directors to shaft shareholders. The balance is restored by the fact that shareholders can sell and walk directors can't easily. Shareholders, buyers and sellers will make their decision. The share price will be turbulent. Today as always the share price reacted to the strike price but ultimately the average price per share will be 47.5p with the warrants. I think that they will be triggered sooner rather than later.
I expect the share price to bounce back. Ethernity now has multiples of the interest it had 6 months ago. The portfolio is alive and sales are really maturing. I suspect that is what this money is about. We still have no real clarity over who and how components are built. We are told Ethernity are not a hardware company but the reality is the product runs on something units in some cases are virtual but not completely so. The IDU for example who assembles the components of the first 1000 units.

Interesting presentation. Really boils my p155 that we have to wait for a placing to get it.
Interesting that the first listed opportunity is the TietoEvry collaboration. I know that there's a private network contract coming in China with TietoEvry as Integrator. However that will be 500 cards, hardly enough to account for its importance. I suspect that there's a pipeline.

SCAP sitting out on zero buy and sell. Looking prime to make up ground today certainly into the 40's. I increased my holding 10%.
I will run in detail through the report later but I don't think that it will be long to trigger the 60p shares at 80p.

There are so very big hints in the investor presentation for all to see. I doubt this is about working capital.

The average price will be 47.5p I believe with the warrants.
Unfortunately with the recent price increase it appears expensive.
A few weeks ago we were told that they were funded and now this. I guess that something substantial is occurring.
Already we have clear visibility to $20m next year. The 80p trigger looks inevitable in the next few months

It's very worthwhile reading the presentation because I believe that it signals 2022 at $20m +

Agreed and the detail about expected sales is extremely positive and will equate to substantial income in the very near term. I guess then the question....why raise the funds and why day that they don't need it when clearly they were already talking about raising it.

So Mr 100k was in the placing then. Obviously had insider information aosold in the 40's to buy at 35. Money laundering at its best

Indeed but as we know the ISP told their server vendor to speak to Ethernity. The product we know won't be Ethernitys it will be whoever the vendor is. Ethernity will never get a mention as they make solutions that others box and sell.
The IDU is with a global OEM, it's their product but inside the cover it's Ethernity.
Silicom do nothing that Ethernity do on the DU and on bonded wireless.
Others will have the tech but only from Ethernity.

It will be interesting to see how the ecosystem is assembled on the Dish deployment. We have a DU solution with 3 Server Vendors at the request of the ISP.
We know each is a adapted product.
It's a very murky picture that hopefully will become clear soon.

EDOM technology in Taipei are involved in the access to UEP in China. I don't know in what capacity. The Chinese industry press carried the UEP report extensively. The amalgamated all the UEP user cases so far to create a confused picture. I guess as they all made the same mistake there's one source.

Also noteworthy for China there's no problems selling to them. It's installing their kit in western networks the protectionism (concern) is about. Certainly China will not allow US business into their market in retaliation but Israel is outside of that scope and we need to remember that Ethernity don't sell directly. The model of delivering complete solution for another to brand is universal.
Importantly in China they rushed headlong into 5g adding compute to maintain speed, width and latency. However this is unsustainable and now they need to act.
Most of the rest of the world are building the future network immediately. That's the main reason for the shift east to west.
Ethernity will do very well in China and have moved on in leaps since Vbras and UPF.

Tarana is of course exciting because of its potential to sell many units but we need to remember that it is not a solution but a functional component. It's really the old business. It will generate tens of millions or more into G2 but compared to the potential of UEP that I suspect will ultimately be sold to hundreds of OEMs to be branded and sold through their network of clients. The beauty is that it not a single market and Ethernity can seize the bulk of the volume.

The change in focus geographically and achieving the IPO goal of complete solution has been discussed here at length. The US were well behind and have only advanced because of government intervention and encouragement.
The US listing of Fiberhome that I disclosed to this board left just direct engagement and TietoEvry UPF collaboration which moves ahead at pace now. A private network deployment will be Q1 using aceNIC based UPF and TietoEvry are Integrators. Obviously DU and other products may also be included.
Ethernity has no more to prove than anyone else. They don't have a huge cap to support and a diverse portfolio.
The trend line has been picked up again and will reach 65-70 with no news even with a strong seller. Between 70-60 there will be a trading opportunity for those brave enough to gamble against newsflow.
I hope next news is a production order for UEP in a different role.
