Chas, I’m with you and think we need to give Will a bit of time to make his mark and if that’s in Africa then I'm all for it. It’s the hottest place to be at the minute and plenty of majors in the area. He’s said he’s using his network to secure a deal so let’s give him time to see what that looks like in the mean time it would be nice to get some positive news on other fronts.

Let’s just hope this hoohaa hasn’t put off our biggest single holder, WA, as let’s be fair he’s one of their own having just left the board. If he starts selling down then we’ll be sub 1p

TheA20 any idea when the second batch will be released?

Do they not need the extension to be granted first? Any ideas on how long that’s likely to take?

I’ve been keeping an eye on the LAB energy advisors web site (who were appointed to assist in Inishkea farm out) and noticed that under the list of current live mandates the yellow dot over Ireland has disappeared and now just showing in dark blue, ‘experience of closing deals’. Something big is going on and expect we’ll hear very soon.

Bubble2021. Completely agree! Looking forward to the next couple of months here. Thinking takeover bid more likely than Ireland farm out or serenity news. The cancelled proactive event and the background buying here makes me think something big is about to drop.

The SP chart is starting to look a lot like Egdon’s before the take over bid. Battered down very low, followed by a spike, followed by the bid. If Heyco come in with a low ball offer then it has to be said they’ve played a blinder. Would be needing a decent offer to get my vote tho.

I was holding at Egdon before the take over and watched the share price get battered down around 30% from the start of year to 2.2 just before the offer came in. There’s clearly a deliberate move to hold back the revised CPR and teamed with the sharp end of buy backs and complete lack of news im just wondering if DB and Heyco have something planned. Possibly take over, possibly sale of Wressle stake, either way anything will look like a good deal the way this is drifting. Europa equally quiet.

Has Edgon been taken private? If so and we’re thinking of a buyout of Europa then would they be able to water down the CPR? They’d have no interest in beefing it up if that was the case. Maybe it doesn’t work like that?

I don’t see why anyone would be selling at the moment. A-lot of near term catalyst could see this rocket. Very exciting times.

Thanks for your views on Inishkia. All sounding very positive. If someone does have the confidence to farm in for say £50mil with an 80/20 free carry for Europa then this would value EOG’s share at £10mil. Added to the circa £11mil mcap now we should quickly see a doubling of the SP.

Tavoc, would you not expect similar buying at UJO and Egdon if it was confirmation on the increased Wressle production?
