I have one avatar, and my view of GSK is they have several things right, but fail at promoting the company and its value .

I have backed Emma Walmsley, but at this time , I am finding her lacking on critical areas.

GSK never promoted it work with VIR, despite Hal Barron doing so stateside, nobody in the UK did, which leads to the likes of CS having a field day and assisting in driving the company share price down.

CVAC will have a Market Cap equal to half of GSK in the next 3 months, its already stands at $22 billion, how many vaccines and treatments have CVAC brought to market?

It was short lived, with the major holder owning 43%, and KfW holding 31% but CVAC went to market last week and raised $450 million at a discounted price of $95.00 a share.

That is $80.00 above its listing share price in August 2020
Of course GSK was never in a position to take over CVAC, so he best they could do is another JV and inject cash, which CVAC did not need, but took with thanks.

GSK intends to separate the joint venture as an independent company via a demerger of its equity interest to its shareholders and a listing of the joint venture on the UK equity market. GSK will have the sole right to decide whether and when to initiate a separation and listing for a period of five years following the closing. GSK may also sell all or part of its stake in the joint venture in a contemporaneous IPO.

Should a separation and listing occur during the first five years after closing, Pfizer has the option to participate through the distribution of its equity interest in the joint venture to its shareholders or the sale of its equity interest in a contemporaneous IPO. After the fifth anniversary of the closing, both GSK and Pfizer will have the right to decide whether and when to initiate a separation and public listing of the joint venture.

I am yet to see any realistic proposals or breakdown of how they separate GSK CHC .

Who holds the interests in GSK CHC ? I can not remember the exact breakdown with Pfizer, but in the region of GSK 68% Pfizer 32%.

GSK CHC employs 25,000 people, which is 20% of its total workforce.
It signed some interesting contracts in the last year, none more so than with Mammoth Sciences, which should be noted by investors.

Surely the way to separate it , its through a new listing in the USA .

I can not see it costing $2.5 billion, as when it was stated the company would become two separate company's the cost was said to be $500 million, it's impossible for that to get to $2.5 billion.

Surely Shareholders should be asking for a vote on this and pushing the Boards to hold a EGM to sanction it?
The Dividend as been in place before GSK CSH was formed, so the Board will face real scrutiny if they intend to spend shareholders money on the separation , if there is not a new listing in the USA for GSK CHC and existing shareholders being the owners of those shares. If its listed separatley, then the listing with new shares and an additional amount of new shares should be issued to cover the costs.

When GSK invested shareholders capital in CVAC, they never once spelled out the benefits, which is a black mark on the Board.

GSK JV's include a number of Vaccines, but did not include CVAC current CVnCoV: COVID-19. In saying that its quiet amazing that they have made $2 billion to-date from that initial $125 million.

Now did EW or the board disclose anything on the success of CVAC Melanoma treatment, no, but Boeheringer Ingleheim did and they only have a 2% ownership of CVAC.

Maybe what GSK actually needs is a bl00dy good shake up at the Investor service department,, or better still a new Press Manager who can send the details out, which would then cut man slashing the like of CS and Deutch Bank at the knees., so investors can see what the £125 million brought in July 2020.

EW said Zejula missed its target, I will say she did actually lie and talk BS.

Zejula license for Advanced OC, was only granted in the January and NICE had refused its use, which means they would not accept the costs of the Zejula, plus once NICE refused its use on costs grounds, every Health inssurance scheme that allows patients to have treatment paid for by Insurance/Assurance could refuse it.

Zejula for advanced OC got its FDA approval in May 2020, in the EU it got its approval in October 2020.
The UK NICE had to kicked, brow beaten and thhretened legally to get approval.

I read part of the Transcript of Confernce calls GSK did yesterday and can say brokers etc asking questions did not raise any question of relevance .

The read out on CVAC Curevac parts were pathetic and its clear those even asking questions have non idea about CVAC , i did actually did begin to wonder if GSK Board members on the call had any idea, but came to the conclusion, they just answered what the clowns asked and I call them clowns because tthats what they are.

Maybe a good idea if questions are going to be raised on Curevac , then research , knowledge and what CVAC partners are involved.

Maybe the same could be said to VIR as well, but unfortunately the transcript of the call showed just how bad those posing questions are and if one went back to 1987, not one of them clowns would get a position in the organisation they represent sweeping the office floors.

GSK had committed to Sanofi when they brought into CVAC and Clover plus Medicago.

Sanofi /GSK pulled the vaccine because it did not show efficacy of over 50% in over 65 years old's, but it had 65 to age 80 in the trials

GSK have supported 3 companys in vaccines, but in January, the German Government and Curevac looked to GSK for manufacture and development of GSL SAM mRNA Platorm, and to combine it with CVAC existing mRNA .

Curevac vaccine is already trialed on South African Mutation, Brazilian, , which no other vaccine is or will be in the next 6 months.

On the joint Merck drug, they called it as a no go based on data that did not support Bintrafusp alfa being effective, which if it had Merck would have earnt $4 1 billion.
