Yes it shouldn’t be long now. I was expecting it this week, so every day that passes now increases the chances of it happening. It bounced from the support strongly yesterday, so looking positive. I agree jamrock, I personally think we’ll see some big moves when news finally starts to arrive. Also now not actually that long until we hear about preliminary results, so something else to look forward to.
So they have now updated the bank holiday timetable on their website which is good. At least it proves that they are on the ball. I’m keeping my eyes peeled, as they have been known to release RNS’s later in the day in the past.
I agree, good buying opportunity Jamrock.
Looks like my call about the product release being early this week was wrong. A few more sells this morning as well which is understandable as frustration is kicking in. Still very low volume though. I keep on having to remind myself that it's times like this when the real money is made/having that extra bit of patience. Maybe this is actually why the CFO left, because of frustration at the speed of the launch progress? Come on Penny we need an update! Hopefully not long now...
Just attempting to read between the lines whilst waiting for news. One positive is that we haven't seen any big sells from that 24 million share issue/deferred consideration last month. This tells me that they are happy to hold, so the future of MHC must look encouraging to them.
Penny states that the new tests "will commence commercialisation this Spring." An April launch has also been mentioned, although not many days left for that.
On another note, their website is now out of date, as it's still showing the bank holiday opening hours along with easter ordering info. I'd expect them to update this shortly (if they don't I would be disappointed). What I'm thinking is, will they update it as the same time to coincide with the product launch? Surely we'll hear something any day now?
I've just been having a look around for other at home health tests, and searched lactose intolerance test. The first result I clicked is selling a food intolerance test for £139, and they've got plenty of reviews on Trustpilot, so it shows that there's a market for these kind of tests, and that people are willing to spend good money on them. And imagine if MHC managed to get their tests on the Boots and Lloyds pharmacy websites and stores. It would open up a huge market. Especially if their price point is more competitive.

There are other companies doing them with prices ranging from £30 and upwards.
You'd think we will hear something any day now surely?
I don't know if it's always said this, or a recent update, or if I'm just looking into it too much, but when you search myhealthchecked on google, the main title under their url says "MyHealthChecked: Covid Day 2 & 8, Fit to Fly and DNA Testing". I'm hoping the "DNA testing" is a recent addition, but it's could well have been there before. Jeese I'm bored ha.
I was expecting them in April to be honest. In hindsight it would make sense for them to launch after the Easter holidays, with regards to covid test sales slowing down. Except for the rights issue and director changes, it feels like a looong time since any meaningful updates. Hopefully not much longer.
Yes I thought that as well. I liked the point when she said that they now have brand recognition and credibility in the eyes of the Pharmacy product department within Boots. I assume she meant this in reference to potentially onboarding the new products. Also, at the end, when she talked about her vision, wanting to be the primary company in this field in the UK, then to grow the business in international markets. Impressive ambition!
Hadn't heard this before. Some interesting talk about strategy.

I think if you bought £10k at any point around this price you’d mop up whats left and potentially be the catalyst for the next proper move up. 2.2-2.3p seems to be the resistance. I wonder if we’ll break it soon. Good signal from British Bulls.
I agree with what you’re both saying about the tests. I think the coeliac and lactose tests will be more popular than the others. But yes I believe they are swab tests, so the actual production cost will be extremely low. The value is in the knowledge/expertise and platform, which they already have.
These tests will just be the start though. To quote the research note, it says they are “ideally placed to roll out its range of testing kits focused on weight management, vitamin deficiency, food intolerance, heart health and blood glucose.”
So plenty of plans for more tests in the future, of which i think they sound very promising commercially.
