Further buys and further fall in price.Any explanations?
One should expect the price to increase as a consequence of 18 million hares bought.
The basic law in economics is that prices are determined by supply and demand unless monopolistic forces are present in a given market. In view of the balance between s&d in this market today the obvious answer is that for some reason the market makers are messing about.Any suggestions?
I dont know much about the present BOD but there cannot be any doubt that BD was very very economical with the truth and fed his fantasies via Pete.
We did not all believe everything was ok.I asked a specific question i.e is Pete genuine or is he being put away by DB. F or my effort I attracted much criticism but cannot remember anyone supporting my question. To be fair everyone posting was hostile to my propostion although I suspect many who did not post had serious reservations.Anyway now is the time to put this issue behind us and for those who speculate without having firm facts to pipe down.
I think that the cost of a million shares is small change when compared with what many on this board have invested and with the salary of the CEO.
Yes I understand that the price will,I hope, oscillate about an upward trend but the fall today plus yesterday's afternoon fall has been quite big.
Is this just a hiccup or are we reverting to the default position i.e being disappointed.
The problem with options is that the BOD have a bet to nothing. They continue to draw their salaries which is the return for their services but do nothing else to obtain options.I firmly believe that one can only be confident in the future if the BOD show confidence by purching shares. If I were a Director I would prefer free options to risking my own money
You seem to be agreeing with the drift of my post which is that it is folly to buy without having any positive data to justify optimism on the part of posters.
of a substantial number of these shares I worry about the optimistic opinions which appear on this site. There is nothing wrong with optimism providing it is based on sound data and information but until this happens it is merely speculation.I will only become optimistic once I see the BOD buying.Of course anyone is at liberty to make speculative comments and I would not have it any other way but readers should exercise care when making decisions based upon optimistic comments.
What we now need is for the BOD to show some confidence by purchasing some shares.Without this the share is still a second fav risk..
Only worth taking a risk is when the Directors are willing to back themselves.
This would appear to be in the balance. Not until the BOD back themselves will it be possible to be more positive.
Perhaps some members of this forum don't understand the acronym POETS.
Market environment good.Tui had fantastic day yesterday and quite a good day today, yet Tcg Is continuing take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. Are there any positives out there for Tcg or can it now be considererd to be a basket case?I have held these shares since 2011 but my patience is beginning to run out.
