Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
What has the CEO done to merit being granted 1.5 million shares for his performance.I would feel happier if members of the Board invested their own money in the firm.
that everyone, brexiteer or remainer,to offer 2 fingers to the smug dictators running the EU.How can anyone fail to see that we will be a cash cow now that the EU is in decline. The eurocrats recognised immediately that T May was our weak link and acted accordingly. The same will happen to Corbyn if he gets a chance.
All most certainly a Pyrrhic victory.Anyone who believes the EUwill act honourably re the backstop also believes in Father Christmas In the North it will be impossible for us to forgive the southern elite which for some reason appear to have used the odious Hesletine as their cheerleader. We now need to exit by default or stay in until we are prepared to be ready to exit
Whatever the outcome of the present impasse the only certainty is that the major losers will be the EU.The way they treated Cameron, then May and finally The House of Commons has made this certain. We now ,whether Brexiter or Remainer, need to exit the EU which has clearly been a failing system for some years.Any country or organisation that is ruled by tyrants is destined to failure eventually.Time for us to get out or do Remainers want to be part of this failure because if we stay this will be forever until the disintegration of the EU.
I hesitate to get involved in the exchange of opinions on a site which should be involved in the progress of vodaphone. However I think that there are some facts rather than opinions that should be made re brexit. It is claimed that the majority of economists oppose brexit. It is not explained that these economjsts being employed by the government, large companies and academic institutions all have a vested interested in the status quo.I am an economist of some reputation but have not been asked.I have no doubt that brexit would after a short period of adjustment be highly advantageous to the UK.The adjustment period could be softened by the use of the £39 billions to finance cuts in taxation such as income tax,vat and corporation tax and allowing the deficit to increase in the short run.I t is time we stop pandering to the large corporations who are only a very small part of our economy and who are unlikely to succeed in their attempts to blackmail the UK.
I know this post will attract much criticism but it will not attract a response from me since I will not be reading them.
The supporters of the 'deal' appear to believe that the EU negotiators are honourable people.I would not like to bet the farm on this proposition. For this reason TM must go A few issues in this deal need to be tweaked with a new leader making it clear that these changes are deal breakers. It beggars belief that anyone could agree to accept the non dated backstop arrangement since we know that Barnier et al are scoundrels.
Hope springs eternal.
It appears that our CEO received a 60% increase to £2 mill this year in spite of the price collapse.
There seem to be a lot of peacocks posting nowadays.
I have held this shares for several years but wrote it off a long time ago.I look at this site occasionally and marvel at how 4PS can continue to ramp up this share.See his Aug 1st post.I hope nobody is taken in by FB's crocodile tears.
Cards on table. As a respected economist I have always believed on economic grounds that Brexit would be good for the UK but the sovereignty issue reinforces this view. The question I now ask is how any Remainer with any self respect can now believe that if we remained we would be treated in any way than contempt?
Big sell off today with one holder selling 113000 at £1.Do they know something?
