Definitely not a FLYB here. Must admit, lack of anything so far worries me, but I was aware when I took the punt here there was the possibility of losing my stake, so think I’ll let it ride. MA still has a sizeable chunk of cash invested here, so I’m struggling to believe he’ll just let that go without any kind of announcement. Not saying it will pay off now, just that there’s a couple of twists left before 8th. IMHO. That said, if I wasn’t invested already, I wouldn’t be buying in now. DYOR. Good luck. Got soaked at the golf today. Came home, share price had held up better than I thought it would in the absence of any news today, so I decided to hold on to see what tomorrow brings. When I bought in I thought this was a 50/50 punt, but confess I'm beginning to suspect no bid is coming now. Hope those fears prove to be ungrounded.

I think 85 was as many as MA was allowed before going over the 30% !!!

I'm due to play golf today (in the rain) so won't be up to speed with developments between 10am and 3pm.... so if MA could see his way clear to release the RNS either at 9am, or wait until after 3pm that would be grand. Cheers Mike.

Still holding, but thought we'd have heard by this morning if there was a bid incoming. Haven't completely given up, but think I may exit by close today if I can salvage enough. If the price has gone really low by then, I may just leave it as a write off, because you never know (well until 8th you don't).

I have looked, and they're connected to the bid somehow. ISAT and FDL issuing loads just now, and don't think either of them going under! But thanks anyway.

Runwiththebullzz the sound out RNS was a SOLG stock offer for Cornerstone shares - not a cash one. Therefore in theory, on news, if both stocks rise equally, so it would not make a difference.

Thanks addicknt ... now the holding back of the PEA I get, various reasons for it (discussed on here) and easily justifiable to the regulating authorities.... however the lack of drilling results for so long continues to concern me. In my limited experience (in the financial sector - I'm no miner or explorer!) it's usually advisable to stay the right side of the regulator in the long run!

On this subject, can someone more knowledgeable than me clear up a puzzle.... if SOLG bod are in possession of information which would have a material impact on SP, are they not obliged do release it within a reasonable time frame?

My belief is that the bid and ask shown reflect what it was published (post monitoring extension at close) however the trade itself took place much earlier, at which time the sell price would be lower. All normal. No conspiracy or manipulation.

Scully yesterday you suggested 3p open, then 5p bid, then a 7-8p bid. All posted Within 2 hours. So I asked you why your confidence was improving on no news, but you didn’t respond. Serious question.... why do you now think 12 p? What fundamentals have changed to cause your guess at potential bid price to increase? Please, unless you’ve heard something, keep it consistent. And realistic. I believe it’s 5p, nothing, or SPD shares. That view has not changed.

daniel - (et al) apologies then, I wasn't here last week! Thanks for clarifying - in that case yes, they could be buying on open market at these prices. Would make sense.

If SPD cross 30% before 22nd they would have to pay more. I do not believe they're doing that. (However, I could be wrong in my understanding of the rules)
