Gingy, fairly sure they want to borrow rather than issue shares.
If they are successful raising debt finance in spring / summer 2026 (so < 1 year away!), I wonder if we’ll start to see a “virtuous circle” of confidence and sentiment in the market and inevitably a decent increase in SP?
Looking into my “half empty” glass for a moment I was wondering what risks such as a global event or geopolitical change might damage the success/ further rise of MKA. I’m sure you’ve been following the Putin-Trump situation. Initially I wondered if a REE “deal” between the two might wreck Mkango. However I think this unlikely: while Russia apparently has large deposits I understand they are not really mining (or processing) them. So gearing up production would take a few years perhaps. At the moment, I can’t see the Chinese resuming supply.
I guess we’ll soon find out, but I’m not so sure today’s warrants RNS is particularly positive news. Surely it means the holder believes the SP has plateaued, so no further growth for a while?
We’ll have to wait for him to confirm. I reckon he runs his own company, something engineering related, perhaps electronics, hence his interest and knowledge of REE.
T212 allows you to instantly move cash between my cash isa and stocks and shares isa - I do find that really useful. Also the transactions are (superficially) free.
