Lets hope that the poster last week who said the lease on Burwell will be starting tomorrow was correct. We really need something to get some interest here. So massively undervalued and yet no interest from the market.
Yes, without the lease it is an empty plot with little value, which is why the deal will complete. It makes sense for all concerned, I suspect it has been a cat and mouse game but it looks like it is done.
No chance, Corcel can just extend again and any new application would take a very long time. Also if a grid connection came available again( this was the last one) it is open to many others to apply for it so there is no guarantee they would get it. No one would take that chance.
Corcel own the connection but will need the cash to build the plant so who knows ? It is exciting though whatever the deal is it will be good for Corcel.
Reading what timster has said in now believe him 100%. I know the land owner was dragging his feet because of other contract issues. It seems everything has fallen into place now. If it is the original buyer (pigeon) then all will be going ahead as planned. It just took a long time. Can’t wait for next week to possibly get full confirmation, thanks Timster .
At the moment management have big ??? over their heads. As soon as they pull in financial closure on Avonmouth and tring road that will all change and finally the sp will re rate. Until then there are too many questions. The Burwell saga has not helped at all and needs finalising be either getting the lease signed or binning the land owner off. The reality is the land owner has a very limited time frame now to cash in on the value of his land. I doubt he will walk away and cost himself a fortune in lost income. IMO Burwell will get signed and we can all breathe a sigh of relief and watch the sp go to where it should be which is into double figures. In the meantime you have to decide to be in or out for the day that rns comes.
im on 6m too and im not selling any. I firmly believe it will go much higher and will wait it out. August is always a poor month. Sept Oct will see progress on a number of fronts imo.
BOD need a right kick up the a**se imo. Knocking on the door of 12 months since Scott said they can now finalise the Burwell lease. I am sure they think we are all going to forget about it.
That IMO is the reason we are at this SP. MISTRUST, FALSE PROMISES, INABILITY TO COMPLETE A DEAL.
ROCKLAWN, personally I dont see it as important. We have Avonmouth at 50MW and 100% owned. Burwell is only a concern as it used to be our big project and all the talk was about it. Nothing has come to fruition with it and so the market is punishing Corcel for not getting the job done. Once we get a firm re**** on something the sp will move. Until then we drift and bounce along. Scott also said financial close for Avonmouth was due in September, lets see if he proves to be right on that.
