Share price is not the thing to look at. Market cap is. Now let’s assume we get the funding to proceed with the purchase of the remaining 90% of TSH11 and we proceed to drill the wells. What would market cap be ? Then let’s assume the funding is enough to start building the 5000 bopd plant, what would market cap be then ?
Well here are my thoughts. To achieve the above the funding needs to be around £150m. If they get this then valkor get 29% of tomco. So (assuming the last conversion is done) there would be around 2b shares in issue. Add 29% for valkor, so 2.58b in issue.
Imo with £150m of funding and the guarantee of no further placing the market cap has to get to at a minimum £100m. So with 2.6b shares in issue and maybe a few more for funders etc, so let’s go to a round 3b in issue, that would be 3.3p per share.
Now, that is my figure based on the full finance being secured. This does not take into account actually getting to production from the wells and then getting the first 5000bopd plant running. If/when this happens then £100m market cap will be far too low.
