The DM is rightly much maligned for it's gossip/celebrity obsessions but it does do some things very well. A section 'AND THERE IS A CANCER LINK' in this article strikes some chords. Inan ? Maybe someone up to speed on the Science could make a comment or get through to the correspondent re. Scancell being onto this chain already . . .

Hi. Re. the BAME point and Vit D, maybe that's a factor, but I've seen comments that often it could be due to, on average, BAME Folks having poorer health due to living conditions. It's also evident that the 'better off' are less affected than SOME Scancell LTH, who may be less well off than they once were LOL. Just atm though. GN all.

Sorry to be vague - Inan or someone may confirm - re. "goes into overdrive, triggering systemic inflammation and in severe cases a "cytokine storm" that destroys tissues and whole organs" - wasn't this a side effect with Yervoy or another CI ?

So being aged, male, overweight, BAME and having underlying conditions are the extra risk factors - overweight is the only one that is sometimes controllable medium term. So put that biscuit down LOL ATB
