8. The company raises the issue of unfair competition by those who operate in a manner that others have written and described in detail here. They seek to support a Government audit inspection team that checks that quality standards are adhered to and that importers have to be inspected before they can ship products into the country and other UK companies and other international companies wanting to join the scheme and also meet the same standards can do so on an equal footing and an end the race to the bottom. The companies have to pay for the external auditor visits as part of the mechanism to sell in the UK under licence.

The disappointment (massive understatement) towards this company is huge and in addition the need to examine its financial dealings is now a matter of urgency that many decent people will write to their Members of Parliament and will want the owners and this companies activities fully investigated. The company trading of this stock should be suspended and a number of people of influence are likely to seek to have this company suspended while a thorough investigation is carried out.

So we are not the hypocrites its the people who wear boohoo products that are on the top of that particular list. Some on here are just kindly pointing that out to you no matter how inconvenient that is.

I would never invest in a company implicated in furlough fraud, tax evasion and accounting fraud that manages its affairs with lip service to governance, has no control over suppliers and production of its product. Engages in a communication strategy that is not credible. I can see people feeling ashamed to wear boohoo products. This company has destroyed its brand and is now a no lives matter operation.

The whole idea is to give us all a huge discount for those cheap shell shares. Literally just back up the truck if they keep driving the price down. Average off and hold. The best offer you may get for cash elsewhere is 2% a year. More like 18% if you buy and hold here. Oil price will only go down if the global population suddenly decides to fall. The evidence is more likely that Covid-19 will end up creating a baby boom and that will ultimately consumes a huge amount of energy.

Of course the deal broke down in May and Anadarko kept its asset, but as the title states the sale profit would be $2.5B. An issue with Tullow as the operator is that it has other costs that have to be discounted and I can not ascertain entirely what they are. I therefore took a conservative view as to not be accused of ramping. The higher values given for Tullow need a higher than $55 oil Brent price and some prospect of it staying there. The second factor is really finding new reserves and resources out in Guyana and Suriname. I they get one decent hit the valuations go up 6-10p for just finding a discovery. If they sell an entire block on the back of it $300M plus of debt gets paid off and the enterprise value goes higher and profits per barrel go up another 30 cents or so.

The non- Ghana production value has asset value of around $260M.
The Ten and Jubilee field if sold tomorrow are $3.6B minus the tax considerations. Lets say $2.7B net.
Other plant assets etc may well take the value overall to $3B. 1.9B debt remaining after farms down Guyana and Suriname and selling Kenya blocks etcetera. Company say is worth $1B after decommissioning bills worth 70 cents a share or around 56p. However the low oil price of $42 gives a lower equity price and the company needs $55 a barrel to get near the value I suggest. I do feel fair value for Tullow at this time is 37-43p range but the market is not always reflecting where a company actually is. The key is Tullow is surviving when quite a few oil companies are going under. Once the USA gets on to a recovery path again things will turn round globally. 16 States remain in recovery especially New jersey. The Northeast is doing well. The Midwest is a little bit down but can bounce back. California outside LA is holding up. Its really bad in Texas and Florida lost the plot along with Arizona. States around this area are struggling and surge is also now in the Northwest.

I can confirm there is no news at all other than a few pirates off Nigeria taking an oil tanker and holding 9 crew. PMO was treated the same as Tullow.
I can confirm that Tullow bond has improved, that earnings have been revised slightly upwards by some analysts and we have a meeting on the 15 July and the company provides an H1 report on 29 July.

A good idea to own a range of commodity stocks. No harm in having a few that are priced incredibly low especially if believing USD is going over a cliff.
