i also think the timing of the recent attack on slp was a bit ill timed, unless it was really a week smash and grab because results are due and there are very few surprises if ever with slp regrading results days

should stick to your guns profcheese and believe in the company, i know the feeling is grim when shares get attacked but it happens and its only recent graduates with their first "city" job spouting nonsense to get the price down

slp are quite volatile, a MM dream, as they have a good following and amazing fundamentals

but fear is fear, with always that nagging feeling there must be something wrong that others know about

well, with slp there just isnt

actually i think it was LuckyL that follows 12 pgm stocks

see all these what i call "marker trades", of size 1,2,4,8,10 etc, designed to show you sells and try and keep price down or sometimes they mark the bid / ask range, depending on who is doing what

they usually try and put brakes on stuff to the casual observer that it was a sell and unless real time access, dont know the size, until 15 mins later......when you see they are pointless

you've seen it before and you will see it again, mid summer thin mkts shake followed by the need to sell back those shares collected.

happens time and time again, and the next time we will get the same people come out to play, disappear, rinse repeat, and yet few seem to learn

not going bankrupt, not being nationalised and they actually mine genuine stuff, its not rocks sprayed dullish silver - grey (which will be the next load of rollocks)

the one thing i hate more than a falling price is all the halfwits and pointless TA people that come out of the woodwork

hopefully his analysis (which is hopefully the same as ours) of the rhodium mkt is correct, short term due to chips etc

bit nonsense to say every sell is buy and vica versa, this isnt a boot sale

buys get absorbed, as do sells, and they change price to release back

how do you know the seller has gone ? they can pause you know, however i hope he has done one.....

i know the alley way you refer to bangrak, quite a nice clean one but very few play there and not that busy. most prefer the one going from high street to gandy street.

anyway, have we stabilised ? might see a rise to 110 come friday if SA settles down, as we know from the history of looting/unrest, it doesnt last forever.

easy pickings been taken, rest will be guarded and its hopefully back to normal.

buy and sell orders during the day are reasonably pointless to compare as the bigger order get reported late or even next few days

have added, people will be kicking themselves down the road.

excellent set of results, tharisa really are great at mining, and sometimes all you can do is look after your own stuff, and they do.
