hope things went / go well with the treatment

when i was building my pgm position i considered all 3 (slp, ths, jlp) and went for slp, good choice

now have all 3 but the dead money at ths really hacking me off

i was put off jlp when i started buying slp back in the 3p jlp days, on back of an advfn poster who was claiming all sorts of those same shenaningans stoodio

my fault, shouldnt listen to too many people on these boards

oh, over at jlp some nice copper updates on tonnage, at reduced costs

having said the need for fireworks, ths have a few planned, but is that moving? absolutely not

i just think the UK mkt never ever overpays for any stock so everything is at a bloody discount or "prove it" position, whereas over the pond its the complete oipposite, everything seems overvalued and no need to prove anything

what is always against slp and allows these walkdowns is the sheer lack of any surprises that slp can spring, and i think they play a lot on people's inability to hold, as there is no real blue sky to really mention (yet)

i wonder if the current walk down / attack was on the back (for them) of the SA issues and they just thought they would keep it going, fanned by a slightly weaker rh price ?

either way suggests a rebound

and of course they are playing on peoples minds with the upcoming results, akin to the "sp is falling someone must know something" stuff.

i think most ultra bulls are in much lower so can afford to ride this out, though on paper slp are now "only" number 3 on my theoretical top buys given current envornment, purely on the steady simple business they have albeit with not too much ambition

though in terms of what i would like to / do hold, they are number 2, shorter term i just have a little more faith in oil than pgms purely because of the chip problems
