think if they were sells, the delayed ones from yesterday which were fairly large, would have dropped the price far more than it did

you rarely see delayed volumes as buys, almost always "sells"

oh, i have no concerns, quite the opposite, apart from russia, no country i wont invest in

country risk (esp africa) wildly overdone, gives us bargains

not forgetting i'm fairly sure SA doesnt have investment grade status

i wouldnt go by that average, while most will operate inn certain countries there will a discount for SA and the pe doesnt include cash in bank (except interest earnt maybe)

just listened to tharisa guy phoevus and he is very bullish on pgms (not surprising), having spoken to car manufactures, as he says.....

slp still bit behind my 20p finger in the air differential with tharisa

rhodium is a bit behind the curve with the recent dollar weaking, i fully expect over 14k very soon, 15k would really get things moving here

you can take 2 approaches to slp, both mostly work but only 1 wins a super bowl

the kirk cousins "lets dump it off every time" approach, short gains, respectable, but no title

or the justin herbert "lets go long" approach, will win a title

nothing worse than being right about something and making little, when your right you need to really be right, meaning cashing in, because these opportunities are not everywhere

hmmmm, top slicing to say you have made money, not great, especially when slp is on a new uptrend for now but its your money

slp will also be fairly resilient to the major upcoming energy crisis which might last for a very long time.

although higher input costs and reduction in car use, still need that car, cant use less rhodium

totally agree with chat on stock screening, the ones i use have some very interesting financials, of which all screening results are based

there isnt any other way of looking at new stocks, just too many across mkts, but they are only indications of good stocks, then drill into the balance sheet

i'm still a firm favourite of knowing and investing in 5-10 stocks that you know extremely well, adding a few more as we go and maybe dropping few if things change

my worst investments have always been gut feel, loosely skimmed whims

i listened, everything will be on track and more i think

i didnt act on it though, but think after results we will be nearer 130p

where is the basis for a takeover, price action ? come on......

i "try" and use yahoo finance stock screening, the problem is with it is that the metrics are a bit wierd, some of the estimates of fwd pe, price just dont make a lot of sense but generally a good source

stock screening does work in fact picking stuff up that the mags also state is quite easy

i know your in dubai, but dont you have that tax free deal where you can still spend 180 days ish in uk and keep uk status and still tax free ?

i'm thinking of working in that part of the world so would be interested to know

do you still have uk citizenship ? (dont have to answer that)

i only have 3 large holdings, aoi, slp, ths, only ths lacking but they are having a good day and that will come good

as eric sprott once said, get in early and get in big is the way to make great money (which is what you did with slp, i joined at 30p)
