as this board is a little quiet because as always slp are going sideways and tharisa are prob better these days, i'll just give a little aoi update as there were a few on here that were interested in the story not necessarily buying

you might have seen recent news on Venus offshore namibia being UNOFFICIALLY stated to be 13.4 billion barrels, and while unofficial they have been right on everything so far

to aoi, we have a 6.2 % stake in venus, so in ground valuation thats $7-$8 dollars a share just to venus for aoi, compared to todays $2.70, and the other assets (kenya, nigeria, SA) are great by other stds just not like Venus

since eco have 4 namibian blocks and 2 SA then its fine to call it "namibia" and you assume i was referring to gazania which i wasnt

Gil clearly didnt agree with the original holders, good thing about namibia is that eco dont really on tullow so much, and the lundin group are generally ready to go.....

tullow can be a really slow

probably wont phoebus, i'll let guyana do its thing, i read enough on the whole aoi area so have enough looking after that, but sure guyana will do something, but here for namibia and the afe tie in

also kenya aoi news is due very soon......

and dont forget pcl in australia, almost doubled very quickly on venus, i'm watching but need to get in, could be a huge amount of upside

afe also severely undervalued given they have 2 huge gas discoveries already

being an aoi holder i hope there is some carry after the appraisal well in the autumn, would think sale possibly 2023 once paint dried

either way, a ridiculous prospect and after reading the article, they are now saying block 2912 west venus is the same formation so thats even more in theory, cant see anything (except these damn mkts) holding back aoi from being minimum $10 in 3-4 years time

there is no real point in even looking at reddit, everything that can be known kind of is, so its just duplication

i think venus west could be a bit bigger than venus, though venus at the moment is being very conservatively sized, if graff is nearer 2 bill, then, all things being equal venus should be 6+

and getting mentioned in quite a few obscure places

that last trade at 32 was my 10k, so back in to eco

i'm quite heavily loaded in AOI, which would normally be enough for eco but well, the prospects are just a little bit too good to ignore

will add on weakness if it arises, not sure it will, and will prob nearer 50p before gazania

too many good prospects for this not to be a success, but basing this more on AOI's judgement than Gil's
