I was hoping to see if Karoon Gas were going to drill on Z38 next door to BOIL Z34 but this is the latest from them. Things looking up for BOIL lets hope they get a good project going soon. Peru Tumbes Basin, Block Z‐38 Karoon 75% Interest Operator While the block remains in force majeure, advanced geophysical studies continued during the quarter. The results of new seismic attribute and AVO analysis are encouraging. The results show a clear distinction between water, oil and gas signatures in reservoirs over the 1,500 square kilometre 3D seismic area. The AVO results, along with 3D seismic data and sea floor drop cores, continue to support the presence of an active hydrocarbon system in the block. Drilling preparations are ongoing
I sent an e mail, got a standard reply. not bothering to do anything yet. Not at this price anyway.... Good Morning Sir, Thank you for your email. As your Ruspetro shares are held within the brokerage Hargreaves Lansdown, then you will need Hargreaves Lansdown to fully complete your Sale instruction form. I have sent you the attachment on a separate email, please also find the delisted share price of £0.045 per share. Have we set up a new board for RPO?
Nice to see this going up... Trouble with Z34 is that Boil are waiting for Karoon to drill Z38 next door think they are hoping to join up with Karoon ref the drilling, but as yet nothing seems to be happening on the Karoon side ref drilling Z38? so might be a long wait? http://www.karoongas.com.au/projects/offshore-tumbes-basin/. But looking good here lets hope they hit oil.
Unless they offer 10p plus I am going to leave the shares where they are in my SIPP, lucky ive not got a great amount so can afford to do this for a bit of fun, you never know might be the right way to go !!!! on the other hand Dohhhhh. Reading all the post and looking at all the information, this is defiantly one of those times that its yours and your choice alone, could be a good move selling now or it could be a good move keeping the shares in the new private RPO.
Link to Capit who will sell your shares when private.http://www.capitadeal.com/ think this is right but correct me if iam wrong.
The response from Hargreaves Lansdown.Seems a standard response, not answered all my questions I put to them seems they don't want or are not really interested in a private company. Following the cancellation of Ruspetro plc there will be no public market or trading facility on any recognised investment exchange for the Company’s Ordinary Shares, and as such you may have difficulty selling this investment at a reasonable price and, in some circumstances, it may be impossible to sell it at any price. Under HMRC rules unlisted Shares are not eligible to be held within a Stocks & Shares ISA. As a result any holding of Ruspetro plc Shares within a Vantage Stocks & Shares ISA will need to be removed within 30 days of the effective date of the delisting (expected to be 6th June 2016). Following the delisting holders within a Vantage Stocks & Shares ISA will need to transfer your holding to a Vantage Fund & Share Account free of charge. Please note that the part of the ISA allowance relating to the existing investment will be lost – i.e. you cannot replace the transferred investments with a new contribution into your ISA. Any sales placed prior to the delisting will retain the proceeds of the sale within the Vantage Stocks & Shares ISA Please note that the Company has announced “the Board has made arrangements for a matched bargain settlement facility with the Company’s registrar, Capita Asset Services to be available with effect from Cancellation to enable Shareholders to trade their Ordinary Shares.” (Source: Letter from the Chairman, 14th April 2016)
Ive posted this before, very helpful. http://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/06/privatecompanystock.asp?o=40186&l=dir&qsrc=999&qo=investopediaSiteSearch If the link doesn't work just type in the Investopedia search box , selling private shares will take you to a good read on how. I have the shares in a SIPP with Hargreaves Lansdown, ive e mailed them to see if they can and how much it would be to sell the shares once it becomes a Ltd company still waiting for the reply. Will update asp.
Think i am going to keep my shares in the new private company LTD, never done that before, worth a laugh as not got a great holding 5k worth, sent an e mail to Hargreaves Lansdowne to see ref how and if they will be able to sell the shares for me and the cost once they become Ltd.
Ok lets say they go-head and de-list, and become RPO Ltd then things go well for RPO oil price goes back up finance gets sorted some new wells come on-line and they decide to re-list? if you keep your shares and RPO come back say in 3 years time to the market could that be worth a gamble? just a thought.
