I have lots of shares here. I’m not happy with Prelea’s broken promises. I don’t trust him one iota. With Romania he has not just broken promises but lied too. Where did that money for trucks go? And more besides. With Zim I have some hope as there are published indications from other parties such as ZCDC and Botswana Diamonds that a potential deal is in the offing. GLA.

Not a spivvy ramp at all. It enable him to show more public interest which is good longer term and also cannily enables him to pick up the remainder at 15p at any point in the next two years, which may be an absolute bargain at that point.

I have seen nothing to suggest that any JV apart from ZCDC/Alrosa has been signed off. That JV was announced in July and signed recently so took 5 months.

There has certainly been more public news about the ZCDC/Katanga (Vast) JV than either of the other two prospective ZCDC JVs with Anjin and RioZim so suspect Vast is next in line.

Realistically ZCDC was always going to deal with Alrosa as the priority, given their leading global status in rough diamonds market. Hopefully we are on the coattails and the deal will follow quickly.

Why would JG buy shares at 15p when they are much less costly on the open market? If he is interested would he not just build his holding up from the market? Am I missing something?

ZCDC are a government arm so we should trust tt statements that a deal with Vast and the community is in the offing. It's likely to be some fine details being hammered out and getting the right people together in the same room. It usually is issues like that. The ZCDC statement talks about a December signature, we're only just starting the month. Delays are almost inevitable with complicated deals involving politicians and third parties.
