Interesting snippet from the presentation and glad to see they are thinking ahead on this one. Looks like once they float Salarius and Guident goes the same way, or is offloaded via a trade sale that they will use some of the proceeds to get some new start ups in. Medium term to me would be later next year at a guess. Sounds like they are pretty confident that that all fledglings will have flown by then

It's a $1 million project

Barely spoken about on here but quite possibly the most significant piece of news (implication-wise at least) that's ever dropped on here.

Tekcapital Plc (AIM: TEK), (OTCQB: TEKCF), the UK intellectual property investment group focused on transforming university technologies into valuable products that can improve people's lives, is pleased to announce that portfolio company Guident Ltd. ("the Company") has been selected as a vendor by JTA's Procurement Review Committee for JTA Proposal No. P-22-010 entitled "JTA Test Environment" to provide remote monitoring and control services for phase I of the Ultimate Urban Circulator (U²C) Project in the Jacksonville urban core area.



Jacksonville is the largest city by area in the contiguous United States as of 2020. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority is the independent agency responsible for public transit in the city of Jacksonville, Florida, and roadway infrastructure that connects northeast Florida.



"We are delighted to be selected as a vendor by JTA and by their intent to negotiate a contract with Guident for the remote monitoring and teleoperation part of the Ultimate Urban Circulator (U²C) Project" said Harald Braun, Chairman & CEO of Guident Ltd.

Don't forget Guident Genki. A $1 million state contract to kick off. That could lead to great and far reaching things if they can implement successfully (which I'm sure they can)

We need to dig out their 3 year projections so we can check all is on course. Last years was beaten. This year was a bit more ambitious if I remember rightly (I realise we're just going to get a snapshot of how it's progressing as interims). Next year was were it was projected to really take off.

If sales/revenues are on course then a high probability they will really smash it next year.

Morning CM. Yes, I think you're right. I guess until the trading conditions settle at least it shows how quickly things could change for the better.

Anyone know what's going on 20% up today so far. Nice to see the rot stopping. Maybe shorts closing, or maybe an RNS in the wings. You'd hope they d have something up their sleeve for after the float.

They got stiched up BAF. Whoever bought knew that they were going to short the stock. They have not 1 but 2 warrants at hand if the SP moved against them spectacularly..........
However they got it away and the SP will reverse. Looks like it's bottoming out so should start to behave normally soon. I wouldn't worry too much about the price action at this point. Let's see where it is at the end of the year, even though all eyes will be on Guident and Microsalt I imagine.

Personally I think it's the way they've IPO's lucy. I'm no expert but I expect that armed with the warrants that the holders are shorting the stock in the knowledge that they've got the warrants if for any reason it sky rockets. It should find some sort of plateau at some point and if it is getting shorted they'll have to close anyway. Hopefully soon. The sell of there seems to be losing momentum

That's an interesting diversion. I can see it being attractive. As Weather says very good for breathing etc. I don't think it's unusual to use oils in Sauna s so there will be some sort of market for it.

If it's not them they ll be a suit on the horizon haha

I'm all for open honest trading so applaud you for that BP, but to be fair you were advising a sell at about 24/25p on the last leg up. Just to keep things in perspective.

Yes percentage call would be some sort of RNS dropping before the 6th. With 4 companies on the ascent and making such rapid progress there's always a potential RNS in the wings. That's what makes this one such a cracker :)

Also got prefence shares in microsalt with a company valuation of only $4.5 million. It's following TEK and it's business model that led me to that smaller but potentially very rewarding side bet. If I hadn't seen the way the work these companies I wouldn't have understood that they would IPO. The reference from Clifford Gross came quite a while after they'd closed the book on the Microsalt crowd fund.

If I get the chance with Guident I'll do the same. Unfortunately I doubt they'll go the crowdfund route. I think they'll just sell the company privately before they even get to listing stage.

Fair Play LOL. 40p & 50p targets are easily achievable and not unrealistic.

I do both.

I have a decent holding around 11-12p which has now trebled in a couple of years and my trading pot. I'm happy to play both sides with the knowledge I've got a strong stake for longer term.

I get all of that and I agree we should start hearing about theses stratagies at some point but IMO it's early days. We've seen rapid progress over the last 2 of years. I understand that beforehand it's been a rocky road however so the progress has very much been exponential.

I personally don't get too hung up on the Special Dividends. Who's to say when the best time to cash in will be, but I agree on your point about a phased exit.

For me the IPOs are massive as they undeline a booked value to TEK. As these now independently listed companies increase their value. So does TEK.

The SP fell back because it got ahead of itself. The rise beforehand was too quick. However now we have headroom to continue and we will.

If you are nervous about being in and want a quick exit before Autumn with a special dividend I doubt very much it's going to happen my friend. Might be best to offski now.

I've been around here for a couple of years and this one is a Winner. Ups and downs on the way which can present lovely trading opportunities but the overall rate of progress and booked value is very pleasing and set to continue. We also have the ever present possibility of a white swan RNS one day. Never happened with TEK so far, but I wouldn't dismiss it with Microsalt and Guident in the background.

I guess we should be happy they got the IPO away and with a lock in. Should bring some stability to the price now. I still don't really understand the complexities of trading with the book open. I'm guessing some uptakers were flogging their free warrants and some were trading their shares and keeping the warrants. Selling both wouldn't make any sense. Then we have the preference shares, (some of us have these in microsalt). They may have got out over the last few days too.

Either way. Today's RNS is pretty standard but I expect there will be a few more in the pipeline. Some nice sales contracts would give LUCYD a decent boot in the right direction.

Meanwhile we await Microsalt news and also Guident. (How's the state project going on & more wins). I expect if they get the Jacksonville contract wrapped up there will be plenty more state transport projects to be one. $$$$$$
