With this ridiculous spread I think we can safely assume there is something going on in the background. Hopefully for all the right reasons

Hopefully some positive news will come out about the Sable refinery, between now & the New Year. Otherwise it would have been quicker to commence building our own plant a few months back.

True Bluebelly but the cost savings are there to be had and we don't want to lose to much of the company for this via placings even if it is a stonking deal. If they pull this of it will be massive. It's frustrating but worth waiting for if they get it right. If they do it really is the last part of the jigsaw on the way to riches ! :)

Would be nice, but i assume they need to monitor for a while so they can update with meaningful figures. They'll also start off slow I imagine so they are doing it as expected I think. Should be fairly soon I would have thought.

BMR only hold 46m, and unless we've got/had a major shareholder that hasn't notified their holdings and it was a managed sell off, its quite possible they were buys.

Agreed MH - Massive trades like that take a long time to put together, even more so with the kind of volume this share typically carries, even on a news day....We'll probably never know unless a holding RNS is issued at some point this week.

Looks like the selling has dried up. The offer has moved up and looks like the bid is about to tick up...Hopefully the SP will have another good day.

I assume you are talking about a smaller trading pot Kalan - I admire your conviction/discipline. You could well be right.

I'm a little unsure how charts/sp will play out with so much activity going on so i've opted for the path or least resistance. Doesn't mean a thing of course but I've been waiting for the uplift here for a while and we all know what an AIM sure 'CAN' do with a head of wind and don't want to miss it. Probably famous last words but i remember the hype around shares like GKP and they weren't making a bean at the time so reading the sentiment here (poor history versus stonking potential) is becoming a little tricky. Anyhow all the best

It is odd that the share price hasn't moved. In fact it's hard to buy large amounts if you put dummy buys through.

They are either large buys that have taken weeks to put together (when we were hovering around 2p) or.....and more likely - There a large corresponding buys not yet filled that will show up at some point and the sells are BMR offloading because they too skint not to

After being in the doldrums for what seems like half a lifetime it's positive to see volume picking up in this way. We just need a couple of corker RNS's (and the news pipeline looks loaded) and then it should get very interesting.

I know we know all this anyway but Leon with regard to Kabwe definately confirms that they'll be going after the Vanadium as soon as...grades look ok too 0.6% - 1.1% (I think)

Let's hope not Kalan. It's not too much so over to Colin's negotiating skills as to how cheap they can get this and payment mechanism. They have a little tucked away and are making so if they can defer it a little that would help and then we have the riverfort option if applicable. Hard to call so i'm sitting on my hands as I think it is likely to be good business whatever...Out christmas shopping now. Hopefull this will be 2.9p by the time i'm home :)

This is indeed very interesting and the £10.5 million cost to Glencore is enlightening. They are a massive enterprise and no strangers to scaling down and offloading non-profit making branches so with the above figure in mind I'd be hopeful of a cut price deal. That would be a proper result. Fingers crossed

Hi Jonah, not from me but it sounds like there is a lot tied up with this and that it's looking good. The 'flavour' as it comes across is that we should be updated pretty soon so it really does look like there is a raft of news on the horizon.

Hi Comeonvog. 3 posts below by Eblitz - Hope he/she doesn't mind me re-posting. One of the more sensible posters on ADVFN (may well have an account here). The last comment re DCM suggests an imminent RNS in it's own right, early next week i would have thought.

Hi All Went to the AGM today. Quite interesting,Firstly Evan Kirby who recently joined is in Tasmania as we speak looking at a Copper Cobalt project. Others in the Company are looking at other projects. We should hear next week about the Sable unit in Kabwe. Felt positive about the future,there will always be bumps in the road but I do believe that the bigger Companies are taking notice. The fine chrome unit although it can't be patented is a real big issue and the IP will be very sought after.

I can only give you my opinion, there were people there who were asking questions or making statements that to me showed that they had no clue to what they were talking about. Things like Directors remuneration came up nothing came up about Leon buying shares to make a statement. I say this because there are a lot of people on this board who think it is vital, however to me it isn't and I can confirm that you will not get a person more focussed or positive about the future than Leon. He knows his stuff and even getting the Sable deal across the line could be huge not only to do with time and money but other areas. This I was not aware of. Colin very nearly said something that he shouldn't which leads me to believe that maybe a positive announcement is due soon, not to do with Sable. The fine chrome will be put into Hernic eventually, I think Northam is a very good deal for future projects. However everything I have said above should always be taken lightly as to be honest you never know if you are being sold a pup. Personally I think the future is very very good and cash positive. Time will tell

Leon also stated that he is getting on a plane tonight as they are turning on the power at DCM to get the process up and running over the weekend. He seems very excited about it and the future for the process
