JLP need a decent well-connected Finance Manager/ CFO. This is a great deal and should have easily been financed from loans if it was managed by someone who knew what they were doing. Feels like an epic miss and whilst still good news, should have been great news if handled properly.

Hi Visitor. A lot of good stuff in there but I ve seen AIM shares refinanced after failing to pay off corporate bonds and it's the shareholder that loses the lot. Of course there's a hit here but what we've got to analyse in detail is whether JLP holds more value with approximately 1.3 billion shares and no Kabwe against 1.8billion shares and the possibility of massive income for decades to come. It's a company maker imo and I think there will news on all fronts that will stoke the SP over the coming months. It would be nice to see a proper independent analyst report in due course

Jubilee has already secured Zambian ministerial approval for the transaction. The Minister also waived previous conditions placed on the Kabwe mining licences.

491 million shares issues, but this is a company maker! well worth the share issuance in my opnion. Kabwe is fully funded :D

Initial hit but on the sp but I'm glad this is finally on it's way - Nothing to stop this progressing now and overall there should be no looking back. I was half thinking they were using the investor show to raise the capital. Now i'm thinking they wanted all this sorted out so that they can present to insti's and stoke the SP. Interesting few months on the horizon

Nail on the head MoneyHawk - Many are expecting a sting so up to Leon & team to prove them wrong. It does sound like they are looking at Sable and that with the associated cost cutting would be a great start. That and a funding plan for us to see as opposed to guess.

I think we (the public/analysts etc) can see that balance sheet will be looking pretty and that's good enough for most but totally agree regarding Kabwe. I've said it since DAY 1. There is a nervousness regarding the size of the Kabwe project and funding around it in general. Debt in this instance is ok and Leon has alluded that that's where funding would come from. However......you don't have to look to far back in the archives to find some snippets regarding unexpected placings.

My tuppence. If an RNS drops and the funding is clarified in a postive way and this will motor. Can't be too far off hearing something about this. Once the sp is stoked positive quarterly updates, new projects etc will ignite the sp. Won't work the other way around imho so let's have the Kabwe funding news pronto please.

I don't think there is too much to go with regard to BMR. The £10 million (or just shy of) trade yesterday was probably put together over a few days and probably absorbed the buying on the recent very positive quarterly results. One more News day (Kabwe any minute) or a couple of weeks and I think BMR wil be gone for good. It will get interesting then and should tie up with an upturn in the charts too. Still time to get on board anyone hovering on the sidelines.

Good observation mcmac - we would conclude it's a controlled sell then I would have thought so confirms that BMR probably are offloading. Won't go on forever. We'll be rid soon hopefully. News and volume will expedite BMR s exit of course
