The fact is CC is doing very well in India, and China are not allowed in.
Politicians especially in UK often have hidden agendas.
In the UK CC are not involved inside the box so they are not being aimed at.
Go along for the ride and try to talk things up, you nearly did a couple of months back.

Give up whining Colour, you to jake. When JC partnered with BI he did say CC was protected by Turnkey. Do not forget we are referring to the Comms not the meter, you said that CC had not started with UK yet. Of the 240 million Smarts shipped, where did they go, another part of China. May be the project did not take off, Colour you said China was already using another system internally.
The pair of you should just enjoy CC advancement in India, after you said you were out buying further CC shares.
Hopefully we will see 20p by end of week.

ITT, trouble is I think Hardman caught the same chill as JC. I about 4 years back they produced a report giving a very high SP, which I think they realised was a bit much.

Morning ITT, you are a worry guts. We are told monotonously that CC figures are conservative.
You can only go so far without talking the company into the grave.
Money has been laid out on stock in good anticipation. Tenders take a long time. So you have a gap, not a worrying one as we know situation. To my mind figures produced stating only one side to situation are very misleading.
That is why in current positive sitaution I would like CC to produce facts on all possibilites.
We need to know possible incomes to justify stock outlays otherwise you get these terrible accountants figures.

I think the problem we have is that CC over the years has taken a bashing when it has forecast progress which has not happened mainly due Indian Gov uncertainty. Giving out information is a bit constrained with AIM but I would think that JC would now gain by sticking his head above the parapet.
We are expecting great things in the next few months and as we are all aware of what is at stake in India I do not think that the odd calculated error on our chances would matter much.
A list of all the tenders we are involved in, our prospects in each state (Hardman saying we are the sole concern in some states) would boost morale. I wonder if of all the tenders to be won CC could calculate the possible total monthly income this new monthly payment scheme would produce. I have moaned in the past about declaring monthly costs without a balanced income statement which believe marked down SP regularly.
I feel CC is now a tried and trusted Comms company in India and will therefore get much more than the 20-25% aimed at. A trusted company in India probably stands to make great gains.

Hi.. I think CC have a head start in India so you are more than likely right Colour.
Bearing in mind CC is in the arena of software then being small is probably an advantage cost wise.
If we get a fair chunk of India, Africa, Asia and Thailand and possibly US. then there should be big returns in ratio to company/share size of opportunity globally. The first of these tender declarations could be imminent.

Well discovered Colour.

UK SMETS2 has been going for sometime now with CC doing a supply only for 'notspots'. With the delays and Cov our involvement was to come at the end of installations, like at mop up.
With this annoucement on Friday of using Night Rate tarifs, saving several hundred pounds for those on Smart Meters in this period of high energy costs I wonder what the attitude will be of those SMETS applicants who got put to the back of the queue due to Comms difficulties. Money talks and SMETS has not really been of value to UK consumers however this new tarif may change everything. Orginally applicants for SMETS were to be treated in time order until it did not suit.

I think we are going to have a funny couple of months.However I think it is going to be very exciting.
I feel JC will get a mass of orders.
My main concern is that he does not have to give way too much on price.

It will be interesting to see what tonights UK Smart statement makes.
There will probably be a lot of pressure from the likes of multi-storeys and applicants who have been ignored.

This company seems more involved with the heavy side of energy, transmission lines etc.
I wonder how involved with the domestic side they will want CC to get.
Could be a whole new era for CC.

That is the sort of partner to have LTI. I should imagine CC will be doing a lot more than supply with NCC. I think much will happen in all directions before 31/12.

Hello MNM, you may well be right. I take it you withdrew long ago or did not average down.
My amateur status was mainly in the FTSE100 as a sideline in the middle of the night.
Served my purpose lost a few at beginning but went onto Graphs and faired better.
Have not ventured into AIM more than a few times, has to be plausable idea otherwise they fold; it was a bit crazy at first buying millions at a time until it consolidated into reasonable figures.
I have said here that the MM's create the price not buyers but with a string of small buys, maybe their creation, they can move it as they wish. The amount of historical late entries stand out.
If you have now read up on CC's latest position you may wish to indulge yourself and possibly buy 500k of shares.
Of course that would mean you take the Colour route and condemn whilst also buying. (Sorry Colour).
At my age I think I have worked out the one that stands a chance, there are times when I have thought I may be wrong.
I was concern at the new monthly model at first but logically it would give CC some figures to publish that are current each month if they choose to do so.
