It will be interesting to see what happens regarding electricity meters in Iran if Biden decides to ease off of the country's restrictions which he appears to have intentions of.

Well Colour, I can go along with your concerns as CC has been struggling over the years with one setback after another but mainly through politics and delays in UK and India, in an area that big companies can breeze through money wise. CC is an add on piece of equipment and therefore relies on the whims of manufacturers for presentation and has to go with their bidding. However with the success of Indore acknowledged by Indian Government I think the remainder of this financial year and the next will see much bigger contracts and profits. Now DCU's are incorporated in meters, if I am correct, then may be they will not have to be positioned, speeding up general installation time.
Give it a few months and then we can all rethink it. If what has been said at Presentation is anywhere near accurate then SP should be on an upward curve.

Read a report on AMI water meters. Taken off big in US and now Europe is emerging and both seem to be RF with very little Cellular. CC hopefully may feature in Europe.

This business on the news of saying ' that have tested positive in last 28 days ' is just scare mongering, what happens if when the person dies they have not got Cov19 still, or died of a chronic disease, I bet the box gets ticked just the same.
They should only highlight if a person has no major life threatening symptoms and dies of Cov19. That is it, don't keep harping on about the 28 days as not relevant.
Who knows how many lockdowns to come at £200bn a go.
For the sake of repeating myself, everybody should go about their lives as normal, people who need hospitalisation for Cov19 be transferred to Nightingales and with the money saved fit them out fully and staffed if they can find them, seem to be able to for illegal immigrants.
Remember all the ambulances that were trained to transfer people to Nightingales, all wasted.
Do a proper isolation job. There seems to be no planning.

Hello Colour, my views are more in line with Hammer, very few actions are accidental.
I still feel CC is lining up for a volume contract announcement before 31/12.

I don't think the update will be that depressing.
You have JVVNL, Indore second phase, Mysore keeps going, Thailand plus others in the making.
An indication of a volume sale by Heather.
I would suspect the total would come in above 1m units, meaning 500k units per year, this at least I would estimate.
Some of this is not just supply only so will make moves towards profit. I see this as minimums so probably a lot more.

Hello Colour.. You could well be right. Looks like a combination of sells and tech market dip having looked at US Market.
CC is usually too far down the pecking order to be affected by tech stocks but of course as small as our income is we possibly get roped in occasionally.

LTI/Vas/Colour.. an interesting day. Is this the drop before the rise (RNS tomorrow?, LOL) I am sure this has happened before but I can't see the logic.

It is fairly simple Colour, they are probably not at liberty to discuss and it may jeopardise further contract chances.
I think that we have been told repeatedly that we are not the lead contractors and subject to the whims and fancies of the main contractors, I think Heather covered that point on last Virtual.

Once again Colour, you left out the bit in the middle, a changed of government.
I don't know current situation but you think you do.
From what I can see it was decided to let individual Utilities seek their own supply line.
So probably contracts were rethought, in line with any new regs.
Is that roughly correct.
As I said before Governments do their own thing. Bangladesh contract is important but not vital.
Look what happened with Jammu to a much bigger company than CC.

New investors at this price would do well to look at RNS's from June 20 onwards, for progress in expansion.
Don't bother with AGM etc or directors changes just updates and presentations.
CC has a long way to go in my opinion and picking up a head of steam.
To me SP at present is a bargain.
Nevertheless DYOR, it's your money.

Colour.. We know Bangladesh, was stalled and that there was a landslide election in Dec18. Hopefully we got some of the Smart contracts that Utilities were then allowed to individually allocate and possibly some of this years contracts.
It amazes me how you trawl through press information for negatives and totally ignore positives.
Bangladesh is important but equally so is India, Thailand, UK eventually, Europe, etc.

ITT, Could be something in that, if you noticed Heather did most of the facts presentation so must be confident in her comments. Something is afoot, we all know that what is said does not materialise over night. The basic facts are CC RF is agnostic and I believe can accommodate almost all other meters and IoT. Add to that it's 'notspot' capability, it's 12km link and it becomes a useful tool for any company who needs that gap filler.
